Wow...zara humay bhi khilao... :D
wow gina! how did you make the rumali roti? please please share :)
Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya
Rumaali roti:
2 cups whole-wheat atta
1/2 cup flour
2 tablespoons oil
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
pinch of salt
water
You just knead all of the above into a smooth dough and roll it out like you'd roll-out a chapati... you need to cook it over an inverted 'tawa' though over slow flame till it's done.. they take just a minute to cook.
Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya
everything looks delish! I have to try out the rumaali roti
Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya
Is inverted tawa a must?Or can i inverted the regular one..lol.
Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya
^ A normal ‘tawa’ won’t work jalpari.. You could try it though ![]()

I have tried using the concave side of a pizza pan and cooked pita bread, so that might work with Pakistani rotis as well?
