Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

^Yeah I have a Kenwood Kitchen machine and I found out they have an extra add on for making keema so I bought it :D Works well I must say!

Thanks, it was yummy :)

Looks Yummy Shino! Can u share the recipe please? :)

I used 1 kg of minced beef and made seekh kababs out of it. Now instead of grilling the kababs on the bbq or oven (grill) I deepfried them golden brown and took them out.

For one kg minced meat I used:
1 medium or large onion, finely diced
about an inch of ginger, crushed finely
2 tbsp crushed garlic
2 green chilli's
about 2 tbsp crushed coriander seeds
salt, according to taste
red chilli flakes or powder around 1 tspoon
pinch of black pepper, crushed
a few tbsp of oil (don't use it if u have keema with lots of fat)
u can use 1 egg for binding
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp garam masala

Mix everything together and leave it for 2 hrs.
Make longish kababs and deeprfy them till golden.

In a wok or karahi:
heat a little bit of oil
add 2 large sliced onions
1 bellpepper (any colour
2 sliced tomato's
pinch of salt
1tsp chaat masala
red chilli flakes
Fry for a few minutes and then add the kababs, cover and let it on dum for 10 mins.

Top with some lemon juice, hara dhaniya and a some sliced onion.

tell me ore about this kenwood kitchen machine :hmmm:

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

Shinoo...the kababs look yummmm....!!!
I am assuming the Kenwood kitchen machine is sth like a stand mixer which has the options so u can attach different attachments...
something like the Kitchen Aid stand mixer...
I got myself the keema making attachment for it too...and its been a great thing ...:)

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

White chicken qorma

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

Sara: that looks yummy! especially the chapati/roti/paratha (i don't know what it is) with the korma. YUMM-E!

Shinoo: is your Kenwood kitchen machine just like the KitchenAid one? add did you make the keema with the pasta maker attachment? thats what it looks like to me.

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

This is the Kenwood I have

It’s called Prospero (that’s not my kitchen btw) and I used the mince meat add on for the keema.
