Ingredients:

Shan tikka masala
Green paste

Beat yogurt until smooth & well blended. Add tikka masala & green paste, mix well. Add chicken cubes to the yogurt mixture, marinate for an half hour.

Heat oil in a karahii.. Fry the garlic ginger paste a little. Now add chicken and cook on low heat till the water in the chicken dries and the oil began to separate.

oh wow!!chicken biryani looks amazing!!

Shumaisa your food always looks amazing! Great job on the presentation.

We recently bought a waffle iron and have been using it like crazy. I dont think we will ever go back to the store bought, pre made waffles again.

Haleem:

Chicken 65, it doesnt look great in teh pic but it tasted really really good. I left some sauce in there since hubs likes saucy salans.

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

I miss the Belgiun Waffle Maker from the dorms... :(

Ira,

I tried this recipe this weekend. I don’t thin kit came out right. Since I was trying it 1st time, i did 1/2 the recipe for the flan mixture & was able to find Cajeta. Anyways i mixed the whole box of choco cake.
In the bundt pan, i added the cajeta then about 1/2 the chocolate cake batter(i may have added more than 1/2). Then I put the flan ingredients in the blender and poured over the batter, covered tightly & baked. Now the recipe said to bake for 2 hours. Since I kinda halved it, I baked for 1 hour and maybe 10 minutes in the pan of water. My flan was rather dryish almost…not moist and juicy the way your picture looks. What did I do wrong?

It was good but I was dissapointed maybe I baked too long?
also the end result it was 3/4 cake & 1/4 flan…urgh!

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

Ira...your haleem looks cool... :)

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

IRA...what recipe did you follow for the chicken 65..??..it looks really good...:)

Afro, i have made this several times and it has never been dry. I am not sure you can even over bake it dry somehow since the cajeta or caramel can provide alot of liquid. Did you add the whole jar of cajeta? Did you add all the ingredients or could it be that you accidently skipped something? Was it fully covered with foil and was there even water in the water bath? I am sorry it didnt turn out good for you, just trying to figure out the reason for it :(

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

Thanks Zabardast.

Chipsy, here is the recipe i used for chicken 65. It tasted pretty good but next time i will go easy on teh red food coloring  I also added a squirt of ketchup since another recipe on recipezaar used it but everything else i did according to the recipe here:
Chicken 65 or ‘hot and Spicy Chicken’! Recipe | Recipezaar

Oh i also added lime juice till i liked the end product, so i didnt measure that.

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

Ira I have the same plates as you!

Mmmm chicken 65 is my all time favorite but don't you also put ajinar motor salt in it?

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

aaj 2 maheenai baad Daal chawal pakaye... :@:

I didnt use ajino moto, the recipe i used didnt call for it and honestly with so many things said about it, i wouldnt want to use it either.

All your food looks amazing especially shaljam ghost, it looks kind of like my mom’s

Ira, your waffles look great. I have been tempting to make chicken 65 but all the frying involved is taking away my courage…lol

Today I made green chicken…
