First thing mother of Aafia should do is tell her son to surrender his and his family American Nationality, leave job in America, and move back to Pakistan (after surrender of Nationality). Further, tell Aafia to surrender her American Nationality. Make children of Aafia surrender their American Nationality. Make Aafia’s Sister and her family to surrender their American Nationality.
Then she should appeal to all Pakistanis who sympathise with her daughter’s plight, consider that USA convicted her just because she was Muslim, and are still living in America, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, as National or resident, to surrender their nationality or residency, resign from their jobs and move to Pakistan.
After all this essential steps, it would seem right that she then start appealing to Pakistan government to stop working with USA, else all her appeals looks munafiqat, because it is munafiqat that someone appeals to government of Pakistan not to work with America (for whatever reason) still have own children trust USA that they keep American Nationality, live in America, and work in America.
Actually, all Pakistanis (unless they are Munafiqs) who do not trust western government and western justice system, consider that Aafia was convicted wrongly and sent to jail for 87 years just because she was Muslim Pakistani, must be living in fear that they could get treated wrongly or could get jailed by western government and western justice system just because they are Muslims, should leave these countries anyhow, for their own safety and tranquillity of mind. Obviously if these Pakistanis only talk but do not act then they do not believe what they talk, and in that case they are Munafiqs.

What a brilliant idea!
Does her intelligent mother knows what price Pakistan will pay if army stops co-operating with America? We just saw ~2 million people killed in Iraq and the equivalents of Aafia Siddiqui and her likes probably live in safe houses in Iraq or live in exile in other countries.
Its not hard to imagine what these "patriots" want for this country and its people.

If MQM puts pressure on US by backing Afia then US can "save" them in Imran Farooq's murder case. MQM has been the biggest supporter of US actions in Pakistan. Never said against anything until Saturday when serpent threatened US. Are you following the developments on two cases? From MQM's perspective, taking Afia's issue to the streets is a big U Turn when they never uttered a single word in support or against Afia during Mush or PPP regime. Why now, just in two days a series of action are worth paying attention (both from London and Azzizabad).

It is a speculation, ofcourse. Just following the statements from MQM leadership and potential shift of loyalty.
And why US or Britian would go after MQM leadership. Probably cuz they want Mush to take over Karachi with remaining MQM organization under new slogan and new name. Who knows. The new party could win MQM supporters and silent Urdu speaking community (minus visible Jamaati and religious voters) in Karachi which supported Mush during his tenure, also he can gain votes of non PPP/PML Punjabi, Sindhi and Pashtun votes. He can go head to head with NS with the support of Pir Pagara and other lota Q leaguers.
There are numerous possiblities at this point as to how PPP vacuum is filled once the current ruling mafia flees the country.
