Re: Aafia’s mother urges army to stop helping US
I think she has suffered a lot and may not be in proper physical and mental condition. She was picked from Karachi and landed in Afghanistan. Who did this? She was tortured there, her cries were heard by every one in that prison as she was only female prison there.

On what evidence you are claiming that ‘she was picked up from Karachi and landed in Afghanistan’ and that ‘her cries were heard by everyone in that prison as she was only female prisoner there’?
Fact is that, your claim is lie and propaganda of ‘Fisadi’ liars that can be proven easily. On the other hand, obvious reality, for which one can even find evidences, is that, her love of Fisad (so-called Jihad fantasy), working for A-Q terrorists, and later marriage to an Al-Q terrorist, kept her in hiding for years in Pakistan along with her kids, and eventually took her with her kids to Afghanistan in mid 2008, where she got arrested in August 2008 trying to participate in her so-called Fisad (Jihad fantasy).
Note: All those Muazzam Baig story (in his book ‘enemy combatant’) about lone women he heard crying at Bagram airbase detention centre is nothing to do with Aafia, as Muazzam Baig according to his own words left Bagram airbase detention centre for Guantanamo bay airbase in Feb 2003 and Aafia went into hiding at the end of March 2003, so both to be at Bagram airbase at the same time is only possible to retards.
Re: Aafia’s mother urges army to stop helping US
May be !!
Aafia wasnt that Innocent & masoom as our Politicians portraying.
Re: Aafia’s mother urges army to stop helping US
The case of aafia is another shameful scar on history of pakistan, 100 years from now the future generation of muslims will read the coward nation of pakistan allowed one of its daughters to be kidnapped and tortured by the Americans.
What a disgrace!
Re: Aafia’s mother urges army to stop helping US
^^ not mention that aafia's brother lives in USA and has not moved back to Pakistan in protest

And what will USA gain conspiring against a random single woman ?
Re: Aafia’s mother urges army to stop helping US
it's interesting to me... the people in this thread who're crying for Aafia Siddiqui. did they also cry for Mukhtaran Mai? did they also cry for Chand Bibi? do they cry for the woman who was stoned recently by the taliban? do they cry for the baloch women that have been kidnapped? do they cry for the crimes of Pakistani soldiers against Bangladeshi women?
so, why this singleminded maatam for Aafia Siddiqui? is it because she was picked up by the big, bad kufaar? but if we Muslims commit all kinds of crimes against women, it's a-okay?

You should aviod to be personal and you are clear cut vilolating not only norms of decency but violating gupshup rules.
There is no government’s response to following news item. So she was picked up from Karachi on March 30, 2003. Read following news item. Parhta ja oar sharmata ja.
Aafia, kids picked up in Karachi, court told
**Ms Fauzia asserted that Dr Aafia was arrested from Karachi on March 30, 2003, along with her three children and was taken to Afghanistan for her transportation to the United States. **

British journalist Yvonne Ridley says woman being held in solitary confinement for 4 years
By Muhammad Bilal
ISLAMABAD: A Pakistani woman has spent the last four years, and remains to this day, in solitary confinement at the United-States run Bagram airbase detention facility in Afghanistan, British journalist and peace activist Yvonne Ridley told reporters on Sunday.
“Today I am crying out for help, not for myself but for a Pakistani woman neither you nor I have ever met. She has been held in isolation by the Americans in Afghanistan and she needs help,” Ridley said.
Ridley said she first learnt about the woman while reading a book by Guantanamo ex-detainee Moazzam Begg. Ridley added that one of the four Arabs who escaped from the Bagram cell in July 2005 also told a television channel that he had heard a woman’s cries and screams in the prison but never saw her. “I call her the Grey Lady of Bagram because she is almost a ghost, a spectre whose cries and screams continue to haunt those who heard her,” she said.
The woman is registered as Prisoner number 650 and the US officials can’t deny the fact, Ridley said. “I demand that the US military free the Grey Lady immediately. We don’t know her identity, we don’t know her state of mind and we don’t know the extent of the abuse or torture she has been subjected to,” Ridley said.
This would never happen to a Western woman, she added.

No one is condoning above tragedies. Mukhtaran mai got universal publicity what happend to her. At least there is some consolation. However these are different issues than the above one. If you do not feel any sympathy for this unfortunate woman than silecne is golden.

Re: Aafia’s mother urges army to stop helping US
In addition to the garbage the paid MQM hate mongers spread, which is funny because their 2nd in command sub-don farooq kangri sattar is now saying how he would lead protests to free Dr. Afia (which is just another one of their ploys to somehow gain favor with the ppl since they are part of the govt that has less than 20% approval ratings).
Also, Afia aint an American Citizen, she is a permanent resident, and permanent residents carry their original passports which makes her a Pakistani citizen.
Re: Aafia’s mother urges army to stop helping US
New Conspiracy Nonsense from Zaid Hamid. Apparently US kidnapped Aafia because she was working on top secret biological and mind control weapons program for US Government and then defected to Pakistan. But then her sister scolds Zaid Hamid for his stupidity saying she was working on helping mentally challenged children. The fraud that is Zaid Hamid continues to be exposed. What a moron :rotfl:
Re: Aafia’s mother urges army to stop helping US
You should aviod to be personal and you are clear cut vilolating not only norms of decency but violating gupshup rules.
When I wrote that your claim is lie and propaganda then how come you called that personal to you. I never said that you are the ‘Genius’ who started this lie and propaganda, did I? For me, you are victim of lie and propaganda, who believe whatever is told without thinking or questioning, like Zombie :). Please read your post, claims you made, and think:
Yvonne Ridley claim that prisoner 650, the grey lady who used to cry at Bagram airbase, same lady whom Arab prisoners also heard crying, was Aafia, is not true. Whoever spread such misinformation that Aafia was prisoner 650 at Bagram prison, was grey lady who use to cry in prison, do propaganda and spread lies.
Reason: Yvonne Ridley claim is based on speculation that she made after reading book written by Muazzam Begg. Anyhow, her speculation is irrational. The lady Muazzam Begg mentions in his book could not be Aafia. Muazzam Begg heard that lady when he was prisoner at Bagram airbase. Muazzam Begg left Bagram prison in Feb 2003 (date Muazzam also mentions in his book), much before Aafia disappeared (30 March 2003), so it is impossible that the lady Muazzam Begg mentions in his book as prisoner 650 also known as the grey lady could be Aafia.

Again what you wrote that ‘government never responded to following news (the news you quoted)’ is lie and propaganda.
Pakistan government always denied that Aafia was made prisoner in 2003, or was handed to USA by Pakistan government. American government also always denied that Aafia was handed over to them by Pakistan government or even that she was prisoner with them before August 2008.
Well, most confirming is that, during her trial in USA, where American government was claiming that they arrested her in August 2008, Aafia herself never claimed that she was arrested and was prisoner with Americans or Pakistanis before August 2008 ... a direct slap on face of Fisadi/kharjee liars and family of Aafia that she was arrested and was prisoner of Pakistan or Americans since 2003.
Actually, it is possible that Aafia may have got arrested in April 2003, then got released soon afterword ... but after that, it is certain that Aafia disappeared herself to save further arrest because of her link with Al-Q terrorist.
**
To claim that she got arrested on 30 March 2003 by Pakistani agencies and was handed over to USA is blatant lie. If that was truth then Americans would not have claimed in American courts during her trial that she got arrested and was with them since August 2008, neither would she have accepted American claims keeping quite. Rather she would have countered American claims during trial by claiming that she was prisoner with Americans since 2003.** **
Actually, her claim in American court that she was prisoner with Americans since before August 2008 would have made American cases against her invalid ... because whatever Americans were claiming in American court to get her convicted could not have been valid if she was already prisoner of Americans. ** Her claim that she was already American prisoner before August 2008, and could not have done anything American prosecution was claiming, was sufficient defence for her, but her defence never claimed that (that she was American prisoner before August 2008), rather they were defending her using various arguments, accepting that she got arrested in August 2008.
Re: Aafia’s mother urges army to stop helping US
First thing mother of Aafia should do is tell her son to surrender his and his family American Nationality, leave job in America, and move back to Pakistan (after surrender of Nationality). Further, tell Aafia to surrender her American Nationality. Make children of Aafia surrender their American Nationality. Make Aafia’s Sister and her family to surrender their American Nationality.
Then she should appeal to all Pakistanis who sympathise with her daughter’s plight, consider that USA convicted her just because she was Muslim, and are still living in America, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, as National or resident, to surrender their nationality or residency, resign from their jobs and move to Pakistan.
After all this essential steps, it would seem right that she then start appealing to Pakistan government to stop working with USA, else all her appeals looks munafiqat, because it is munafiqat that someone appeals to government of Pakistan not to work with America (for whatever reason) still have own children trust USA that they keep American Nationality, live in America, and work in America.
Actually, all Pakistanis (unless they are Munafiqs) who do not trust western government and western justice system, consider that Aafia was convicted wrongly and sent to jail for 87 years just because she was Muslim Pakistani, must be living in fear that they could get treated wrongly or could get jailed by western government and western justice system just because they are Muslims, should leave these countries anyhow, for their own safety and tranquillity of mind. Obviously if these Pakistanis only talk but do not act then they do not believe what they talk, and in that case they are Munafiqs.
yar jhoot ki had hoti hai...stop lying u!!...she does not have Green Card...

**Massive MQM rally seeks Aafia’s release **
**
**
KARACHI: A massive rally organised by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement on Tuesday unanimously demanded that the United States government set aside the 86-year jail term of
Dr Aafia Siddiqui and release her forthwith.
A very large number of people, including women and children, took part in the rally held on M.A. Jinnah Road to express solidarity with Dr Aafia Siddiqui. Besides representatives of other political and religious parties, Dr Fauzia Siddiqui, Aafia’s elder sister, also attended the rally.
Strict security arrangements were made by the police and Rangers and the main M.A. Jinnah Road was closed to vehicular traffic. Workers of the MQM manned the inside security of the venue, spreading from the Quaid-i-Azam’s mausoleum to Tibet Centre.
MQM workers took out small rallies from their respective areas which later converged at the main venue, the Quaid’s mausoleum.
Before MQM chief Altaf Hussain started his address, the deputy convener of the MQM coordination committee, Dr Farooq Sattar, read out the resolutions, which were unanimously approved by the participants.
The participants of the rally replied in the affirmative when Dr Sattar asked them whether this massive rally condemned in the strongest terms the sentencing of Dr
Aafia Siddiqui by a US court.
Declaring Aafia “the daughter of the nation”, the participants shouted huge slogans in her favour and rejected the sentence handed down to her on what they said fake and concocted charges.
Through another resolution, the rally demanded the US government and President Barack Obama set aside Dr Aafia’s jail term and release her immediately.
In a third resolution, which was also unanimously passed, the participants requested the British government to arrest the killers of Dr Imran Farooq and expose the conspiracy behind his murder.
Earlier, speaking at the rally, Dr Sattar said the entire nation and the MQM were with Dr Aafia Siddiqui. “MQM rallies being held at 60 places in the country reflect that the 170 million people of Pakistan demand Dr Aafia’s release.”
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Fauzia Siddiqui thanked MQM chief Altaf Hussain and the people of Karachi for extending their all-out support to her sister. “This huge rally proves that the whole nation wants Dr Aafia released.”

Wah
And there is some thing more to remember.
We all forgot Kansi but some still remember him .
There is an application in LHC today.
**Direct Sharif to pay 7.86 mn pounds: Peti
tion in Lahore HC**
Lahore: A petition has been filed in a Pakistani court asking it to direct PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif to pay 7.86 million pounds for extraditing Mir Aimal Kansi to America during his tenure as prime minister.
The petition filed in the Lahore High Court yesterday also asked the court to direct authorities to register a case against Sharif for extraditing Kansi.
It said Sharif should be directed to pay 7.86 million pounds as damages and the amount should be spent on welfare projects.
Kansi, a Pakistani living in the US, killed two CIA agents and injured others during an attack outside the American spy agency’s headquarters in 1993. He was captured by Pakistani authorities in 1997 and sent to the US, where he was executed in 2002.
Acting on the petition, the High Court asked the Advocate General of Punjab province to file his response.
The petition, filed by Pir Ally Immrawn Saher Essraphel through lawyer Javed Iqbal Jaffrey, also sought the status of national hero for Kansi and his reburial with national honour.
The petitioner said Sharif should be directed to pay damages because Kansi was extradited to the US during his tenure as Prime Minister. He said this money should be spent on a modern art museum, a free hospital and a free university for human rights.
The petitioner said Kansi was “an innocent man” because he did not kill any CIA agent and that he was extradited to the US on the basis of “mere allegations”.
He asked the court to declare Kansi’s extradition illegal and to tell the government to rebury him with official honours.
Essraphel also said action should be taken against Sharif and others involved in Kansi’s extradition under anti-terrorism laws.
