While we are discussing here whether Ahmadis are kafir or not, whether they should be allowed to be called Ahmadis, or whether Muslims should eat with Ahmadis, a young Ahmadi Major (29 years old) in the Pakistan army yesterday offered the ultimate sacrifice for his country and embraced martyrdom in the ongiong military operations in the northern areas. Inna Lillah e Wa Inna Ilaih e Rajeoon.

What would you call the american soldiers who die fighting the same people as Pakistan army?
and how wud YOU know he actually was SHAHEED? only Allah knows who was fighting in Allah’s path. and arnt ahmdi ppl against this war and jihad where you actually have to fight physically??? so may be he was not ahmdi!!! or may be he was not following mga’s teachings!!!

Oh is that the best you can come up with aramis09? I'd say enrolling in the country's army, fighting the insurgents/terrorists, defending the nation from its enemies. ... this would qualify to the status of "shaheed". Are you going to cast aspersions on all other Shuhada also, from the previous wars?

oh i am not claimimng any thing either way sir....i am saying how do you know that he was shaheed???? define shaheed.... a person who dies in Allah's way...NOT in his country's way or his governments way but only in ALLAH's way. and only Allah knows that who is shahhed. any way you ppl do not believe in jihad so u definitley do not believe in dying in Allah's way???? NO!!!!

I don't know whom you are talking of ? Every Muslim is a Mohammadi and Ahmadi. No particular group has a right to own any of these two titles.
Yes, people might call themselves shias, sunnis, salafis, mirzais (followers of mga),...etc...
They can call themselves whatever they wish, but if we also start using this title for them, we should be ready to be asked about it by the Prophet (saw) on the day of judgment.
A person is against the finality of the Prophet (saw) and we love to call that person's followers with the title which was the prophet's second name. How ironic!!!

I was in Pakistan. I'm disgusted to be a brethren of this people who call themselves muslims. Especially a few persons in this thread. Just disgusting.

So all those other martyrs who died fighting for their country are not shaheed? Captain Sarwar, Major Aziz Bhatti, Rashid Minhas, Hawaldar Lalak Jan, etc. are among those who embraced shahadat while defending their country (and also were awarded Nishan e Haider).

First of all we need to be proud of Ahmadis in Pakistan who are serving Pak forces and he died serving Pakistan. Second of all why we have to respond to this; that why he has been rewarded as Shaheed? Who are we to call someone as Shaheed or not. Leave it to Allah swt and He is for sure the best of Judge.
On a side not, 700+ people have died due to US drones, 2000+ due to Taliban and thier brutality and some of them were the victim of Pak Army's ammunitions. None of the media nor we mentioned those innocent people as Shaheeds but rather with a tag as KILLED. I guess this Shaheed thingy is only for the people serving Pak Force only, which is wrong.
O bhai, how can the followers of MGA become shaheed, when they don't believe in this 'Jihad' in the first place. :D
Dont you honestly think its got much more to it than what you said?.. If Ahmadis dont believe in Jihaad, no point of going in army, because they enter in the army for the intention of being shaheed when in war.

Aramis your post is out of context. Go and learn what is Selft imposed war and what is defensive war. British Empire was ruling the country at the time of Promissed Messiah (A.S) You cannot impose Jihad against your own Goverment.
Even if Muslims would have imposed Jihad then the only fate I could see was death.
