Both ladies debated well. While Mona was more emotional, I respectfully disagree she was being dramatic.
Hebab lost credibility with me when she said she has never met a woman who has been forced to wear a burqa. In my opinion, she was not speaking the truth. just my opinion.
my question is brother do u eat beef?
if yes then you might be forced to eat beef
and if u dont eat then also u might be forced not to eat....
when someone's mother and sisters were wearing saree, i dont think younger sister was given choice if she want to wear saree, shalwar kameez, jeans,or any tribal dress....
so women with tradition of wearing naqab wear naqab i dont think it is called forced wearing of naqab...
if that will be the case no culture will survive...
^so abt this discussion of being forced to wear naqab/burqa...I have seen with my own eyes how some of the women feel they are forced...I have seen a few ladies from well off KSA families, that when they are out of KSA they take off their naqabs/burqas - so I would imagine they are wearing them in KSA only because that is what is expected of them in KSA not because that is what they want to do.
So yes..some ladies are wearing naqabs because they are forced to follow someone else's rules.
I’ve seen many guys who forced their wives not to do niqaab. Once one of my friend with her wife in KFC and feeling ashamed that why his wife putting dopata on her head and bringing upto forehead
I appreciated her wife and said This is good to be looks simple.
IMO, ladies should hide body or face rather then give attraction to other to speak some dirty remarks on their face or body :cobra:
Many girls feels relax in Hijjab and find themselves safe & sound rather then some one don’t care So It depends on them.
I am not talking abt France and I am not talking abt KSA - I am talking abt WOMEN wearing NAQAB - where some of you refuse to accept that some women are forced to wear it - all I did was give you an example of some of the women I had seen who were from the Al Saud family of KSA and how they were. So those were jst a few women, I am sure there must be other women who feel forced too…
I couldn’t care less who is wearing a naqab and who is not - I was arguing the fact of some women ARE forced to wear it…and I honestly don’t understand why they want to they are fighting the law of the country (France), because we all know what happens when foreigners go to KSA - we ALL HAVE TO COVER UP!!! So if others are FORCED to obey SHARIA law when they enter KSA - I don’t see why if you are living in FRANCE you shouldn’t obey the law of the country!
Obviously u have issues accepting some ladies are forced! Did i say they were all forced? No.
As for priests and nuns..yes a lot of young children have been molested..i think these kind of ppl should go to hell..im not saying that all other religions are great. Im a born christian..but i dnt believe in the bible..jst for the fact that it has changed too many times by man.
I will never deny anything wrong that has happened..
As for pork..even christians should not eat pork according to the bible. But they do..and i know muslims who do it and jewish who do it. But i really dnt care..they can do what ever they want it is their life..
So anyways..we were talking abt covering up the face..so lets jst agree to disagree. It is 3:45am and going to my dream land and argue with my husband who would say the same stuff u did..so am actually used to this!
Answer the post. Forget the rest. Why you think she was not speaking the truth?
I know better than to be dragged into a debate with a person who has been undefeated in all debates! First allow me to congratulate you on this dubious distinction. Then allow me to concede all past, present and future points you make.
y dont u blame christianity for depriving nuns and priests of sex because i had seen many christian priest molesting young boys....
So you think molesting doesn't happen in madrassa by some qari sahab?.

The example you gave is flawed. You assume they are forced in SA, whilst it could be they removed the hijab, to avoid negative attitude/attention a niqabi gets in the wests. so maybe they were trying to fit in.
yes some cover up by law rather than will. but how is that different to france, where you have to uncover by law. and then there is the indecency act, where wearing nothing in public will get you in court. by same logic, is that not against your freedom?
the debate is about france..... every culture and religion has its own set of rules but only muslims r blamed for forcing...
Xactly though i do not agree with French law for banning niqaab but everyone living there should respect the french law. In same respect as in Saudi too.
"The example you gave is flawed. You assume they are forced in SA, whilst it could be they removed the hijab, to avoid negative attitude/attention a niqabi gets in the wests. so maybe they were trying to fit in.

at least they are not forced to take vow of celebacy....
as far as qaris r concerned u talking about one case but there r lot of cases by sexual abuse commited by priests....
if few qari have commited the crime then persons who have taken vow of celebacy can molest the children nice justification...
and my sentence quoted by u was in an answer to the question that"burqa wearing women from ksa dont use burqa when out of ksa means they r forced to wear a burqa,in same manner priest commiting sexual abuse means they r forced to lead life of celibacy"
poor nuns n priests r deprived of sex while christians r worried about covered face of few muslim women....
pakiqueen u should visit india lot of hindu gals middle aged womencovering face here in india now a days even at a night time ....

Do you agree that forcing someone to wear and not to wear niqab, both are wrong?

So basically you are afraid to discuss based on merely a dubious distinction. :)
Sorry, but you just could not say you were wrong when accused the lady of lying.
