Hello my lovelies!
So before I leave for my wedding in Lahore, we will be having a function here in the US for guests who cannot attend the wedding itself in Lahore. There’re going to be around a 100 people approximately on the guest list – so it’s a relatively good sized event. I will be getting my hair and make up done professionally as well but what I’m stuck on, is what color to wear?!? I am torn between a green outfit and a white one.

There are a lot of whites I like but I can’t quite pick one. If you have any pictures of white w/silver outfits, I’d love to see them!
I really love the green and can't see myself in any other color that day (except maybe white) :p But that's a really good suggestion that since these people won't see me at the wedding, I should go all out and wear something colorful...!

It really depends on what are you trying to save for the BIG DAY. White is a very elegant and pure choice. Since you are not married yet, you might just wear a white, sparkly dress that will look very decent. I wore one at my engagement and it was white and silver. Looked nice and simple.
However, like other ladies have mentioned here, if you want to give people here in US a flavor of a wedding outfit, then, going with green is not a bad idea since they won't be able to see you anyway.
Lastly, you should know what suits your complexion. For fair people, sometimes, white really makes them shine even more. For not so fair, white could be a little dull..Green will suit both complexions. So choose and decide after trying both, if you have them and go with what you like in the end.
it depends on what color outfits you have for the functions in lahore. if they're all on the bright and colorful side, then i'd definitely go with white and silver. it'll give you a different look in pictures too as compared to the other outfits.
I like the green one, will look beautiful as long as the right cloth is used!! Where will you get it from? One thing I would change is, the gold bodice part on the top, Id bring the inner edges closer in from both side to make the green section in the middle smaller, I dont like how it looks like this, its too far out
IMO, on your event here you should wear a color you will not get to wear otherwise during wedding festivities. Green you will get to wear for mehndi, yellow is for mayun, red for wedding, etc. I would LOVE to wear white, lavendar, pink (LOVE pink), even orange!
This is one of those events where you get to wear anything you like, no rules! Have fun with it and wear something you normally wouldnt wear or will not get to wear. :)

even thgh i really want to wear white for my valima... my mothers wont let me...so i WILL be wearing a white outfit for the party we have in the US...something not too heavy but still bridal looking.
you should go with a white one.
