^Oh man, I miss Middle East!
However, I love beaches despite the fact that I wear a hijab. I go very often, sometimes twice in a week and mostly to the ones in NY, CA or the Carribean, depending on where I am at the moment.
It might be a little uncomfortable for some people being with their dad or brothers, but who goes to beaches with them all the time? Go with your friends, and if you're uncomfortable still, then go at a time when there won't be a lot of people around, may be weekdays instead of weekends, or at odd time. One of my best birthday parties was a surprise one at a NY beach actually!
