The reason they want it back is precicly because of the fact that " they see it as a loss of Hindu land," forget that they had lost this land long before…
Why not just admit the obvious, that India is far more obssesed with having Pakistan back then vice versa.

is that the same emotion that make Pakistan not want to give up Baluchistan? Rememer that was the question we started with - why is it ok for Pakistanis to want to hang on to Baluchistan but not ok for Indians to want to hold on to Pakistan?
