A total deal breaker?

What if you had a proposal from someone who was very educated, well settled and decent looking but came off as a bit boring or too quiet? Would you reject the rishta only cuz of that?

Re: A total deal breaker?

is he a good listener?

Re: A total deal breaker?

Get to know the guy better first.

Re: A total deal breaker?

^ I concur.

Quiet is always underestimated.

Re: A total deal breaker?

Depends whether or not we have anything in common. Depends on his interests and stuff. Just being educated, well-settled, and decent looking is not enough for me to agree to a rishta.

Re: A total deal breaker?

I wouldn't write him off completely.....being reserved may not be such a bad thing

Re: A total deal breaker?

why would it be a "total deal breaker" ?

Re: A total deal breaker?

Was it the first time you met him or something? People can be shy at first/uncomfortable with new people and take a while to open up.

Re: A total deal breaker?

well maybe he's just shy? Give the poor boy a chance.

Re: A total deal breaker?

shyness/quietness shouldnt be a deal breaker at all.

i would rather marry a quiet (kind of boring) guy than end up with a vivacious, witty one only to find out that he's a dil phenk outrageous flirt :p

first meetings and first impressions shouldn't be the last ones !

:)

Re: A total deal breaker?

If everything else is there and he is just a bit quiet - what on earth are you waiting for?????????????????

Re: A total deal breaker?

**isn’t that what most women want? a good guy who is well educated, who is shareef and is well established.

**r u looking for a parrot with no money and /or status? :cb:

Re: A total deal breaker?

maybe he takes time to open up?

Re: A total deal breaker?

i tend to come across as shy and quiet and sharmeeli in these situations and anyone that knows me knows that that's the furthest from the truth. so maybe get to know him better?

Re: A total deal breaker?

i wouldnot because i am like that too...v quiet and boring...

khoob jame ki jab mil baithein ge do khamosh aur boring loag.

Re: A total deal breaker?

Quiet doesnt mean boring. He could be shy and just a little reserved - which is good for you because you dont want a guy that is flirtatious and too out there.

Re: A total deal breaker?

being shy/quiet/reserved in the initial stages is understandable, but at some point I would want to see the other person open up and let some personality shine through. Otherwise, the prospect of being with someone who is just bland and uninteresting is something I would pass on.

Re: A total deal breaker?

Being quiet cannot outweigh the fact that he is "very educated, well settled and decent looking"

One should talk sense....I think that is more important..

Re: A total deal breaker?

quiet guys finish last?

Re: A total deal breaker?

some people just take their time opening up to new people so dont reject a rishta just because he is not jumping around here and there after meeting u :D
