One weekend is all it takes for a thread to spiral out of control. A li'l bird told me that quite a few responses from this thread were removed as well. Oh well! :-)

Anyway, a couple of clarifications. I did not intend to start off this thread to name every single contributor on GS, as that will be an extremely long list. The focus of this thread was more about current and active contributors in our WA forum. There are members who don't post on GS anymore (e.g. malik73 or Madhanee etc), or don't post with regularity in WA (Mr Xtreme, CM etc) or are too new for me to know them enough (Goliko, Reza Pahlavi etc).

Secondly, there are many prolific posters in other forums, who are not named, simply because, as I said, I drew up the initial list solely based on WA. So regular posters like PCG and others were not there.

The reason I picked up WA forum, is simply because of the extra-ordinary level of disputes that are constantly debated there, and many of the regulars keep on coming back to dish out more of the same. I just feel it takes an enormous amount of patience to keep on saying the same thing again and again, and sticking to your point.

Having said that, I always intended to come back to this thread and add more members, as time goes on. Hope was that readers will take a moment to get the perspective and appreciate other members here. Seems quite a few are so hostile in their views, that every thing and anything is a huge case of insult for them and offering any kind of appreciation for others is unthinkable.

It was an innocent thread…Thank the person for mention and move on…

But those that call other desis ‘desis’ as an insult, have shown their true colours…

Not everyone can swallow praise or appreciation…It sticks in their throat and comes out as ‘Ochha-pun’…(Is there a word in English for 'Ochha?)

I was not here when 9/11 happened but always heard about the environment then. Being a not-so-regular WA poster, I thought despite the sad incident, some posters were quite informative amid all those occassionally hostile posts. I should post more often there :D

I dont know who malik73 is but why is madhanee not posting anymore? I mean he is mostly a very intelligent guy :devil: He must post. So what happened to him?
