A Thread of Appreciation

please, verify if it is pcg or PCG :D ?

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

I have often wondered if Faisal has too much khaali time. It takes some enthu and motivation to write posts like the above.

And I do marvel at his ability to write long posts in such organized manner every single time. No typos, highlighting and italicizing the things that need to be, posting links under descriptive texts rather than as URLs.....I am sure he reads his posts 10 times before clicking on the 'Submit' button.

His 18631 posts till date at an average of 4 minutes/post = 1242 Hours = 51 days.
So he has already spent 51 days of his life writing posts on Gupshup. He probably spends 10 times that reading others' posts. So totally approximately 600 man days(~2 Years) spent on Gupshup already.

Since he joined Gupshup in 1999 (from his registration date), he must have spent approx 33% of the last 6 years on Gupshup. Amazing.

Wonder what he does for a living. I want his job. !!

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

PCG? Rightttt....

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

Hatam tai ki qabar par laat maar di aj to bhai nay...

Nice dedications to deserving people, I guess you should include Ahmadi and Roman in that as well, no matter what they wrote, but how they expressed...

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

:hehe:

That single post deserves a round of appluase

That is a good question :k:
He rob people blind, of their Khaali time

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

No really, what is the point of this thread? Other than from a self congratulationary feelgood factor? The people posting here are mostly from America or Canada, and the ones who aren't are in London which is like a different planet from the rest of England anyway.

Anybody posting here from Leeds, which is where the bombers were from after all? Sobi or ehsan from the Midlands, or Disco Duck from Mancheser would probably have much more relevant views that is my point.

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

X, the WA forum was dead and sadly the bombings in London and the people mentioned by Faisal above put it back to life. That was the point of this thread :D

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

i think GS shud pay a tribute to all the old banned guppies.

guppies come and go, but yaadaiN hamesha reh jaati hain.

Like Faisal uncle its limited how long he is admin for.

2mrow someone other will take over.

and like this the cycle will go on.

So our "future" guppy admins in future, they wont have a clue about the great forum gladiator Faisal and his gr8 MS Word-Spell Checked posts.

So i think its about time we mention all the gr8 honourable banned guppies who we know from the past and pay a salute to them with 12 topoN ki salaami.

baaqi fikar not tay zikar not

thanda mahol tay mithay chol

tay mitti payo tay boota layo

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

Xtreme,

I think you’re taking the London bombings bit of the thread to heart. It’s true no one can quite feel what you’re going through, no one lives in your city from GS or in fact in your house with your family so aren’t going through what you are.

I suppose you commented on 911 without having lived in New York, people will have opinions, share your experiences, highlight your views.

Sure I live in London but have family and friends in the north, close to where some of the recent upheaval has been can I not share in their anxiety. I may go about expressing my views in a different manner to some, but I’d say they’re just as valid as anyone elses.

PS: Faisal it’s true that this thread should have no/little connection to the London bombings, but then again I never read it that way I just though you were trying to make friends.

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

Faisal ji is developing acquired traits…where is Verizon with his British respone, in the list, as well fraudz uncle’s defence of elite anywhere in the world responses…waisai i find madhanee’s absence from this whole furore extremely curious to say the least…:flower1:

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

You rock, I rock, everything's nice and dandy!

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

Thap I don’t think I have taken anything to heart as such, it’s just that in a time like this to suddenly open a thread appreciating each other’s lovely threads seems either like a poor attempt at brown-nosing or just superflous. Obviously I don’t have anything against people expressing their opinions…it’s the appaluding of the opinions I find weird!

Although anyone who wants to applaud mine is free to do so.

That’s a better answer and one much more praiseworthy :k:

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

Its ok Mr X, I dont appreciate your whining. And neither am I in London. (I am not in the dirty scum infested north :p either) All is well.

We call all stop crying now.

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

Well who asked your opinion in any case? And more importantly, no one cares that you live in Wales, if it’s good enough for shahreen and Billy the goat, why not you :jhanda:

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

The same people who lined up to ask you o wise one. Besides my opinion is more valid becasue im not middle aged.

Id rather wales than lout infested leeds :jhanda:

Just so you know. Wales in not in the south of England :jhanda:

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

just for clarity. I jest.

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

Thap,

You are too kind. I enjoy reading your posts.

As unreal and bizarre as some of my posts/stories seem, they are true. smile

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

don’t be silly, course you’re middle aged. You’ll be wearing dentures this time next year. Leeds might be lout-infested and smelly but that doesn’t give you the right to knock it dear. Keep a civil tongue.

:jhanda:

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

You have to remember people will find the timing of anything odd or similarly find nothing odd about it depending on their personal circumstances and situation at the time of reading…hope that made sense.

Without knowing more of what you’re going through thoughj it’s difficult to see where you’re coming from.

Re: A Thread of Appreciation

Tha man dishes out compliments and he gets verbally assaulted...what's this world coming to?

Too much hostility on GS these days.
