Voting by multinicks has raised a few questions and has soured what should have been a fun election. Can I suggest that the current elections be declared null and void and new ones take place with same candidates with clarifications of the rules.
My take, if we allow multinicks on GS we should allow them to vote as well.
What do you all say?

the elections were badly and haphazardly planned
first there should have been a global sticky that such elections are going to be held in cafe and you are all invited to vote , the sticky should have lasted a week and then a day should have been seletcted for elections
secondly, elections polls should have a deadline and voting should stop after 24 hrs (ample time for people to vote)
thirdly, the newly registered nicks should be restricted to vote (helps count out a lot of multinicks)
fourhtly, all the multinicks that have voted should have their vote reduced to 1, you guys being admins can see who is a multinick with a click of a link in admincp, ask gizzy

PPS: I forgot to add, last time i checked vbulletin poll setup, mods and surely admins have power to manually change numbers. Im not saying this has happened here with AQ vs. Shikra election, but on another forum where im one of the admins, i have seen this and i know i could change the number of votes, delete certain individual nicks who have voted or fix who voted for what/who etc etc

Hmmmm Mods might have powers but I'll be shocked to learn about any tempering.

^ You are right admins can change the number of votes, mods can't under our system, but let me reassure everyone here that nothing of the sort will be done. :)

Is it an official voting? If they are official, we need to know what they will get after getting those positions? or will they just be making an opposition league to do jalsay juloss ghairao pathrao and etc wagair?
In case they get any sort of power, then I will suggest NO multinicks be allowed in voting, else I like the way it is ...

NO mods or Admin ever abuses their power, i can tell you that, GS has strict and punishable policy.

so what i was implying with my post above is that such elections should be held on neutral grounds (read forums) and an election commission assigned and ISI and punjab police along with US National Guards and Marine Coprs from Camp Pendellton to make sure no dhandli, seena zori, disenfrenchisement takes place either mulnickers or admins/mods.

i say let this go .. ENOUGH voices have been raised on something thats not even worth being done again .. ppl just cant treat cricket and these things for fun ..
in the mighty words of zeus-holio, screw it.. let the votings complete their time, and let fraudia publish the results with what he initially promised.. and if we EVER DO THIS again, dont allow multinicks and their involvement in the whole process that was created for fun …

Having said that multinicks havn’t done anything against the law as there was no clear probibition on it therefore MULTINICKS SHOULDN’T BE BANNED
