Sorry...I do see the humour in this but I quite disagree and think that its a sad thing....I mean if you think that money is the root of happiness then you will never be happy. I get SO much joy when I go with my hubby and boyz for a camping trip, our lives are SO enriched by being out in nature, being together etc etc...for a cost of about 60 dollars for a 3 day weekend....and that is SO much better than something like a 3-day fantasy trip to disney where boyz would have to wait on long lines, want to buy everything they see thats for sale and be treated to all the commercialism that they could possibly handle.
Thats only one small aspect of the whole issue I know but a good example I think....the main point is that money aint everything.

Totally agree with you Mamaof3. Just saw this quote, wanted to see people's comments. Money is important but definitely not everything.
A successful man and a successful woman is one who can learn to live with each other in any conditions possible under the guidance of Allah's values. That is if they are married, of course.

sorry if a definition of a man's success is going to be defined by such measures which reduce a man to his earning power, then men have all right to claim that the amount of booty they can financially support is a mark of their success.
