I think he needs to keep telling his parents that he will marry you and that's that - eventually they'll give in and the wedding will happen. Besides, he's only 25 so he can afford to spend some time convincing his parents.
My whole take on the issue is - I'd never let go of someone if they were giving it their best shot.
