no where does it say in the Quran that women have to cover their faces of their heads
they are suppose to dress modestly and not show the curvature of their body....
and thats it, this veil and burka concept was there before Islam came and was just adopted as the official gear for muslim women for persians and arabs to accomodate themselves
These are the same people who made the rule that women cant drive

FYI.....women not being able to drive is cultural indeed...not a part of Islam. majority of women in Saudi wear burqa.....does it make any sense to allow a burqa wearing woman to drive a car? she wont be able to see properly..she will get into accidents....and any one can commit a crime and hop into their get-a-way car while wearing the burqa. For Saudi...it makes sense for women not to drive....cuz they simply cant!!
