SYDNEY: The backing of a woman who described herself as a “rape victim” on Saturday took some of the heat off Australia’s embattled top Muslim cleric, under pressure for saying that scantily clad women “invited” sexual attack.
Cindy Taylor said Sheik Taj Aldin Al-Hilali had not intended to justify rape by comparing immodestly dressed women to “uncovered meat”, comments that sparked calls for his resignation.
“He’s a wonderful man and his analogy certainly did not justify the act of rape,” according to Taylor, who said she had twice been raped, although nobody had ever been charged.
“He was not being politically correct, but he’s not a politician, he’s a philosophical leader,” she said outside Sydney’s Lakemab Mosque, where police and journalists outnumbered a small gathering of around 100 Muslim worshippers. afp

She's either making up a false identity just to defend him because someone made her/paid her to, or she's delusional and has low-self esteem beyond belief and probably thinks she's at fault for her own rapes.

Interestingly, she and armughal are the only two people sticking up for this guy, when the entire world is either angry at him or ashamed because of his remarks.

Don't even bother to argue with them. A sane person would pick the right thing, doesn't mater who is saying it. But here the problem is different. They only take accept someone if he says something of their like. Hypocrites.
Above all, it is more like rebillion towards the religious figures. Instead of looking at what is someone saying, they concentrate on "who" is saying it. If you probe more, these fools don't find anything wrong with consensual sex, outside marriage. Brain washed Muslims who have inspirations from everything else but their real sources.

first off, there is a difference between animals and men (apparently)...god gave humans a sense and a concience...and if something does NOT belong to you, you do not have the right to take it...if someone leaves meat uncovered and an animal takes it, it doesn't mean the animal had permission to take it, it just means it was a dumb animal that saw sustenance and took it. how can you compare what you consider an improperly dressed WOMAN, a HUMAN being, as a piece of forgotten meat...are men so vile and uncontrolled that they cannot understand that a woman, no matter how she is dressed, is not just there for their random carnal pleasures? thats not saying much about your gender is it? rape is a vile and disgusting crime and sin...for anyone to imply that someone deserves is dispicable and idiotic

This is a silly chauvinistic way of looking at things. Definitely not the way most people think. A woman has every right to show whatever she wants to show. If it's inappropriate, law enforcement are there to take care of it. But noone else has the right to touch the person. There can be many reasons why a woman wants to reveal flesh, one reason being when it gets very warm, they don't want to feel stuffy or hot. This is a completely valid reason and one cannot, simply cannot, justify that she is doing this to garner attention or is asking to be raped. It's ridiculous and chauvinistic and pathetic frankly. Even in the winter when it can get, there is no way to justify a person touching a slapper under these conditions.

Well you have to consider also the fact there is a great difference in interpretation of the word "Meat" as used by the Shiekh who is of Middle Eastern Origin and refering to "carnivorous animal food" and of those whose language is English where a Brothel is considered a "Meat Market" hence a derogatory term for Women of ill repute.
**The Shiekh could have used the terms " Flies and Honey" and that would not offend those with English background......:) **
