A question

…to all you keyboard Pakistanis. Considering the rampant paranoia on these forums over the past few days, where Pakistan is being nothing but ridiculed do you feel you are actually Pakistani or just Pakistani enough to ***** but do nothing truly substantive?

The reason I ask is that you lot have more faith in Americans when they are killing innocents than you do in the Pakistani kaum itself. Its rather amazing that 90% of you will actively defend the US/NATO/West to the bitter end of issues which are not morally tenable, yet throw in the towel on Pakistan in mere seconds.

Do you actually feel you are Pakistani, or simply feel so because of Pavlovian psychology?

Re: A question

Since we are all here to discuss things in a friendly manner, we must be truthful. I'll accept that I'm in awe of how the US has built up itself. I accept that there is NO HOPE for Pakistan. The people here are "jahil", the government is corrupt and the country is on its way to the grave.

Re: A question

God Forbid, and aap ki soch per lannat hai.

Jub tuk is dunya mein ik bi aesa shaks baqi hia, jis ki ankhein Pakistan ka name sun kar bheeg jati hain, us waqt tuk Pakistan qaim-o-daim rahey ga.

Re: A question

CM, stop having wet dreams of "ALL THE PEOPLE ARE AGAINST PAKISTAN, I AM THE ONLY DEFENDER".

Everyone is entitle to their own opinion, and neither you have any certificate of Hib-ul-watni.

Re: A question

I dont, but I do feel like I have Pakistani origin and Pakistani heritage..my roots are there.

Re: A question

yaara my everything is in Pakistan, and even permanently moving back in few months. What would you call it?

Re: A question

CM, i dont agree with you. Most people here feel Pakistani and love Pakistan, there are only a handful of people who come in the category you describe.

Re: A question

I feel more Pakistani today than I did about a month ago.

Re: A question

keyboard pakistani, good one :hehe:

bashing pakistan is the cool thing to do i hear, you know to be part of the ‘it’ crowd and all

Re: A question

criticizing Pakistan does not make one anti-pakistani and I think that's what most people on the board do, save for some loonies.

Re: A question

I was born in pakistan, everyone is there, my culture, roots w/e... but I hate nationalism. So yes I say I belong to the people of pakistan but not for any nationalistic cause. At least I'm not one of those self-claimed pakistanis who know nothing more than hating on their "country" and licking the behinds of the crusaders.

Re: A question

Qaim- daim rehnay ki taraf hi ja raha hai ofc. Aglay saal India pe bhi qabza ho jaye ga.

Re: A question

cm... mulitple threads, same purpose... what do u want us to do? you seem to have a special hatred for the pakistanis living abroad... but regardless... just what do u want us to do?

more importantly, what are YOU doing to help pakistan... not just now with the floods... throughout the yr.... maybe we can learn from you?

im sick and tired of hearing fellow pakistanis (especially those living in pakistan) complain and whine bout how the rest of us arent helping out... its like no matter what or how much one does, its just not enough.

plus.. i think what you should be asking is "are u still a patriot or feeling less of a patriot now".. cuz asking if we are feeling pakistani or not.. that doesnt make sense.

Re: A question

CM no one here enemy of state we all love Pakistan and I think of most of us also praying for its stabality and good brigt future.... the real problems we discuss when we come here and some of just go very deep into those problems and what i feel about them is that they realy very very sad and wana bring out their angers in words by KEY BORAD. isnt seems to me that they hate Pakistan. APNO KE AGGE HI RONA HOTA HAI NA

Re: A question

good question. iw ill think

Re: A question

Everybody here bitterly condemned people of Sialkot taking laws into their own hands and lynching two brothers on suspicion of them being dscoits.

As soon as someone says USA should not be allowed to use indiscriminate force in northern areas for killing people on suspicion of being terrorists, tempers flare.

Re: A question

I do not have any intentions of moving back under the circumstances, but I do have all the love for Pakistan and Pakistani awaam and try to do whatever I can for Pakistan and common folks.

Re: A question

I have been on this forum for what 10 years and it never changes.

1999 - Pakistan is a failed state. It is doomed. We are gonna be stateless
2001 - Pakistan is a failed state. The US is going to attack us and take us over. We will be stateless
2010 - Pakistan is a failed state. This government is going to sink us. We will be stateless.

Now this would be tolerable if it didn’t happen very freaking 2 years on this forum. Feel free to do a search and read the threads. The amazing part is that the same people say the same damn thing year in and year out. And a majority of them live abroad.

You know what I hate comparing Indians to Pakistanis. Why? Because the two nations are very diverse. They are extremely different in mindset and mentality, they have different roots, priorities and histories. But I am going to make one comparison that I have seen. I have lived abroad for years. Lived in 9 countries over 28 years. The one thing I have always seen amongst Indians even when I was in high school to the work environment before this huge emphasis on India emerging as the next global power was the desire to project India as the best it possibly can be. Pakistanis do not do that. Hell at Guppie meets, if politics comes up, everybody just complains. And this is normal in front of Pakistanis and non-Pakistanis.

Indians do not do so. Even if they have different views. Be they Congress or RSS. In front of others they will always support each other, always provide a view point of India that is positive. Even on Kashmir. They will say lie if they have to. But they will never ever tolerate their nation being insulted or say things are going horribly bad. They will never do that. Pakistanis will not only insult the country but also make bigger more idiotic comments.

Pakistanis can not seem to have a good word to say about anything in Pakistan. People complained on this website for weeks that Pakistanis were doing nothing for the flood. The opposite in fact was true. Only when Icono posted did people consider it a reality. The absolute lack of faith you lot have in Pakistan is down right pathetic. When the devastation occured in Orissa in India due to the floods and rains. India refused aid when they badly needed it. Indians in private complained bitterly on the issue. But in public it was a sign of India could stand on its own feet. They always supported the actions of their people. Forget governments. They showed trust and faith in the people.

You lot do not do that.

Stick your heads in the sand all you want. I spend 99% of my time on this website attempting to show that Pakistanis are in fact human beings.

You want to know the really sad thing about this all? Those two boys killed in Sialkot. Horrific thing. We all know that. But the drama bazi involved in it on this forum is amazing. Do you know that in the UK this past 2 weeks, 3 white mothers have killed their own kids? Remember the case in the UK where parents had their own daughter kidnapped so they could be on the news? Or just today: Solihull teachers arrested over indecent child images - BBC News - A teacher was found with child porn. You see the brits going all crazy saying that what is become our society and the rest? No. Why? Because they have social and emotional maturity to realize one group, or one person does not define a nation. If that group or individual defines you, you are just ****ed up.

I can take examples from the US, France, Germany all highlighting deep, disgusting traits within people that are part of that society. But does that mean they have tantrum like a 2 year old? No. They have the emotional and social maturity to realize these acts are rare and do not define them. On the other hand Pakistanis go all out and say we are scum. Well done. You do us all proud.
