Besides, if you're wearing shorts in the US you are not that likely to be ogled unless you are extremely good looking or walking past a rude construction site.

*I have been ogled and commented on far more wearing an abaya and niqab in a market in Pakistan. I almost slapped a man in Murree who pinched me twice. So maybe I should reverse the question and ask you how you react to women in your family being ogled on a daily basis in Pakistan?

you know, this is so true...i have found gora people far more refined than our pakistani own bhaai...in pakistan or even out of pakistan, they gawk at women as if those women are from another planet...and they wouldn;t take their gaze ooff you until u make a really stern lo0k at them...Passing obscene comments is another norm for them! and yes, i have experienced and personally know people who have experienced those disgusting touches! Most Pakistani men are truly DESPARATE for women unlike most gora people.
