A Question to Gora and gora-like people

How do u feel when women related to you go out in short skirts, shorts or revealign clothes in public and how do u react to people who oogle.

Re: A Question to Gora and gora-like people

I don't think I'm related to any non-muslim girls... so nada...doesn't apply...but if muslim gurls do so..and I don't know them.. then I don't care... it's between them and Allah.... who am I to judge....

:D

Re: A Question to Gora and gora-like people

^ I agreed. I don't waste my time thinking about other people. I have plenty of faults of my own to worry about. It is up to Allah to judge them for their sins, as we will all be judged.

Besides, if you're wearing shorts in the US you are not that likely to be ogled unless you are extremely good looking or walking past a rude construction site.

I have been ogled and commented on far more wearing an abaya and niqab in a market in Pakistan. I almost slapped a man in Murree who pinched me twice. So maybe I should reverse the question and ask you how you react to women in your family being ogled on a daily basis in Pakistan?

Re: A Question to Gora and gora-like people

^ Amana, you traitor.. how dare you say anything against our fellow Pakistanis in Pakistan? They’re total farishtay, they’re not capable of disgusting behavior as such..only goras are evil and gross like that :hehe:

Re: A Question to Gora and gora-like people

whyr u askin goras....i mean its like there "culture"....they dnt care....:)

Re: A Question to Gora and gora-like people

The guys feel proud coz their woman looks hot and all the other guys envy him..

Re: A Question to Gora and gora-like people

^i agree....

Re: A Question to Gora and gora-like people

I think you are looking for trouble. Try to rephrase the question so it seems less...hostile?

Re: A Question to Gora and gora-like people

:)

Re: A Question to Gora and gora-like people

im not gora or a gora wanna-be however.......i could careless what my relatives (unless its mom, sisters or neieces) wear...it doesnt bother me. However, i do have a 16 yr old niece who sometimes wears clothes that i dont really find appropriate.....and i dont like it one bit!! i make her take it off and put something a lil more decent when she goes out with me. MashAllah..she listens to me :)

Re: A Question to Gora and gora-like people

I don’t care what anybody wears. As long as they’re clothes and not some odd unwearable substance, I’m ok. :k:

Re: A Question to Gora and gora-like people

Oops - sorry Sara, being the dumb gori that I am, I forgot that everything here is sinful and everything in the land of the pure is, well, pure. Didn’t you just want to take a can of pepper spray with you to the market, though.

Honestly, how these guys come up with these questions is beyond me. If certain pakistanis spent as much time doing something productive as they do wondering what goras and ABCDs are up to, well, let’s just say they might not be lagging so far behind that big neighbor to the east… :rotfl:

Re: A Question to Gora and gora-like people

Dear Sir/Madam Iconolast,

I would like to request that you please not open threads targetting a whole race of people. This maybe offensive to our gora guppies.

Thanks in advance for your prompt attention.

Yours Sincerly,
lussi

Re: A Question to Gora and gora-like people

maam saab, u think more negatively about Pakistan(i’s) than we think about you. its reality…a society that encourages immorality is bound to have more immoral people than people in a society that looks down on immorality. Now if that doesnt make sense to you nothing will. lol i never knew Goris cud be so anti-pakistani.

Now personally I don’t know any women who have been born or raised in America who call themselves Gori, saying that no1 ii personally know dresses that provocatively, they wear the usual clothes, they r muslim mostly, any1 who does wear provocatively I naturally assume isnt a muslim…despite what u ladies think pakistani guys think of women, i still hold women in high regard to the point of being naive.

Re: A Question to Gora and gora-like people

If you are strictly talking about white people - then they do not have strong bonds with women in family and they beleive in their right to freedom as much as men. Therefore, short dress or voting for conservatives, right or wrong - its women's choice how they want to live their life. As nature intended - they will reap what they sow accordingly.

Re: A Question to Gora and gora-like people

last word...im glad u realized that

number one...this thread is highly offensive

number two...it promotes even more prejudice

number three...there is no point

first of all....one makes the assumption that the "gora" was vile and immoral until he/she found Islam..u cannot assume that

it also makes the assumption that those who come from Islamic/Muslim nations are all good people...u cannot assume that as well...

in fact i would beg to say that... ive met alot of "good" muslim men chase ( as in sex) after "bad" and "corrupt" white and black girls simply because they are american and non-muslim..therefore they must be "immoral"

so in actuality..who is at fault?
the girl who happens to be white? or the guy who pre-judges?

and please DONT use the logic that well most Americans are....blah blah..look at the TV...

one day ur children will be American too...and unless uir daughters are wearing full-hijaab from head to toe....someone may "accidently mistaken them for a "corrupt" american

how would that make u feel?

we need to stop making ours girls feel as if the only way they can be protected is by wearing full niqaab..INSTEAD we need to tell our boys to control themselves and respect every woman regardless of what type of woman you "think" she is

Re: A Question to Gora and gora-like people

I think u've misunderstood me....I've never assumed that sum1 is corrupt unless i've seen them wearing provocative clothes despite being a muslim or unless have seen them doing things that they r not suppose to. I judge people by actions not looks...but honestly when sum1 is wearing provocative clothes u really thiink they cud be sum1 whose pious?

Re: A Question to Gora and gora-like people

salam,
sorry to quote only your comments but want to add smthng

A person wil be surly ask if he / she had tried to stop other from that nudity. Its right Allah has to judge that but the person who knew, that the girl was muslim and even then he / she didnt tried to stop her will be aksed for that... WHY?

OK at first comes preaching and teaching then comes questioning. We must teach our people and our owns not to practice such deeds or wear such close and etc. But if they do then comes questioning that why she / he did?

as like AnGeL EyEs said that when she ask her niece she respect her and do what she says... so its like do and show your youngers what is good and what is not :). NO OFFENSE

rab rakha,
aaho

Re: A Question to Gora and gora-like people

Its rather strange that Goras on GS open so many threads about us Desi and we do not feel offended, rather we accept if there is something wrong with us, but they on the otehr hand get offended.

Whatever anyone wears, is not my business, i do niot preach people to wear a particular dress.

Amana, yes, we do feel very bad if someone, oogles at our women, i have fought physically with people, even if they were standing outside my home without any purpose, we know how bad the things are in Pakistan and thats why many we do not even use the public transport. .........BUT..........

teh point of this thread is not to accuse anyone or degrdae them, i was just trying to ask about something that 'some' desis feel so different about compared to goras and ultra-mod desis.
