As a someone who does not favor either party, let me say this. None of those people sitting on higher judiciary should be there & especially any judge who ok'd unconstitutional orders & gave protection to a dictator under whatever circumstances...
In this regard, deposed CJ is no better than Dogar. Ex CJ took oath on PCO and gave Mushrraf authority to amend the constitution the way he pleased & Dogar did the same thing. They were both looking after their interests. So, now tell me how is Ifti better than Dogar?
The reason this P.O.S. Zardari will not allow judges to be free because he will not be allowed to rule Pakistan like a thug. Looks like U.S. controls the Pak army and army for some reason is helping Zardari do anything he wants. With these corrupt fools supporting him from army and his party he will not be kept in check until the common man finally rises. I don't understand how Zardari is not kept in check by his party.
I was watching capital talk on March 9, and one of the guys was saying that Farooq Naek is a first cousin of PML-N leader Asif....
Pakistan cannot go nowhere as long as these relatives of each other are running the country. When will the common man be allowed to come up? As long as majority of Pakistani's remain poor and uneducated Pakistan isn't going nowhere.
I have a question to all PPP Supporters. Normally in our beloved country Pakistan when someone dies and if they have asked their Son/Daughter relative before dying anything to do, or if they have promised something before their death. We all respect them and care so much to do that thing.
All PPP supporters call Benazir Bhutto their mother, there sister their daughter, Shaeed Mutrama Bhutto. Then why they have no regard for the promised she made to Public to get votes. GEO showed a clip of about 15 minutes where Benazir Bhutto on numerous occasions promised to those Jhillay's supporters that she will bring back justice to this country, she will bring back Judiciary, she will bring back CJ.
Either admitt that you don't love her and care about her words? her promises.

How long PPP Jiaalay will keep supporting the corrupt leader? who don't even keep their promises. Come out of denial and stop supporting who doesnt care for you but care for their own CHAIR.
We will never prosper as a Nation unless we stop supporting madly the people who even cheat with us. Please please please stop this blind love and stand up to your own leaders and ask them question. Raise your voice, they are not only cheating with other parties but their own PPP supporters. WE have to learn this if we really want our country to succeed.
I am neither Muslim League supporter neither PPP. None of them deserve my support because they all looted my country. All I am asking is open your mind a bit and ask questions whoever is wrong regardless of which party they belong to.
WE call this country Islamic Republic of Pakistan, just imagine and think would our beloved Prophet (PBUH) would have ever run our country like this? Would he have ever promised something then not kept his promise? I hope you all think about that is you really want your country to prosper

In the few months he has been president, Zardari has done untold damage to Pakistan. The quicker we get rid of him the better, Pakistan belongs to Pakistanis not zardari. We just had a shameful terrorist attack in lahore and what is the whole govt. machinery doing, they are busy in settling political scores. Shameful and disgusting, shame on Zardari and Salman Taseer.

I have been pondering but whatever reasons I come up with are all illegitimate/unethical, e.g. NRO protection, 'missing persons' case, need to have SC judges with criminal past so that they can easily be blackmailed, etc.

It cannot be restored as the act was done by an army chief! Only Gen Kiani can do that if he again acts un-constitutionally... only by amending the constitution it can be done in a parliament..

Actually u seem to only look at things from one acute angle all the time! PPP has all along said they cant undo a unconstitutional step by another.. so only parliament can do that by an amendment.. Nawaz is only trying to score fame.. all are power hungry...

Only three judges are left to join.. what about the vast majority who have started working.. these three would had joined if they were not stopped by some whose only politics is to exploit and gain their specific motives.. Justice Khawaja Sharif's statements are evident that what they r up to...

But it wont! Everyone know how all politiacians are worried about justice and equal opportunities.. all have inducted their loyalista in high courts and supreme courts.. take an exoample of Justice Khawaja Sharif who was PML-N active member inducted by Nawaz Sharif..
Additionally, how come Nov 2 judiary regarded as sacred - it was hand picked by Musharaf! was justice prevailing in the country under these judges.. was there any difference for common masses under those and under present judges.. If we assume that Nov 2 judiary was impartial then Musharaf dida marvelous job for 9 years!!

^ pee pee pee (ghaddari) has appointed about a dozen high court judges who belong to the the party and even contested (and lost) elections. And this has been done gainst the COD signed by BB. Sharram mggar inhein aati nahiN. Appointment of Khawaja Sharif was way before the COD. The whole purpose of COD was not to repeat pst mistakes. But for a selfish group who are taking this goverment as their last government they want to do anything to make it 100% (from 10%) so that they can enjoy their lifein London or Dubai for many many years.

Please dont misguide.. no appointment can be made under COD presently - as it is not a part of constitution! COD was an agreement between two parties and is not acknowleged by PML(Q), ANP, MQM etc. Unless, it becomes a part of constitution with a two-third majority no one can appoint judges with it.. PPP is appointing judges as per the Constitution of Pakistan whether someone likes it or not...
