I dont necesarilly have a soft spot for anyone... But if you look beyond the fact that your a Sunni, you might have a soft spot for Ahmedis as well... If Sunnis were the minority, if they were forced to take assylum in foreign countries, not allowed to practice their faith, not allowed to do hajj, had to constantly defend themselves, you would have a soft spot for them to... And if you ever went to an Ahmedi mosque and a Sunni mosque and compared the two, you would realize one big difference, the Sunni's seem to monoplaize Islam, they are always the first to deem others as Kufar, and there khutbas are very distastefull... My last Khutba at a Sunni mosque included the following, Hate America because its our enemy, support Jihad where ever, Shia's are Kafirs, women and men should stay fifty feet away from each other at all time, you will go to hell fo the slightest thing... I mean, these Mullahs are ridiculous. Ahmedis for their part, stick to the basics, although they arent perfect, they were Sunnis at one point after all, tend to stay clear of calling anyone kafir or anyone their enemy.

Im Atheist having judged Sunni Islam and Islam in general for myself:)
I have respect for my forefathers, but if my forefathers evolved from subspecies of Human, and if thats where the scientific evidence points, then I will accept. No offence, we as Humans are not so great, look at humans, and the only thing that seperates us from the animals is that we can drive...
