Oh ok…So, they are rumors that are ‘claimed’ to be from the prophet. So what you are saying is that 200 years after the prophet died, ‘other’ people (like Bukhari) heard ‘other’ people say they heard ‘Aisha’, an 18 year-old kid, say she heard something from the Prophet…and you call that ‘authentic’.

This thread is coming to an end of this topic, so I thought I would steer it in another direction.

I would really like to have a focussed discussion with you regarding:

a) Citations of the Qur’an
b) Citations of Hadith
c) Interpretations of both
d) The importance of context and
e) Why I think you are not only wrong but are blameworthy of using the Qur’an to devices which serve a methodology which is unIslamic.

So shall we begin? If so please quote that verse for me from the Qur’an that you have provided in the past to show why following hadith is wrong? No flooding please … one step at a time just so I can keep up with you.
