The Gita tells you to do your duty without any motives (What is called Niskama Karma) that is, you do it because it is the correct thing to do.
So if you follow Gita, whoever started the Godra incident should be hunted down and punished regardless.
Now, what should be the punishment?
An 'Islamic' punishment no doubt would be burn them in train compartment as well.
Anyway, all this comes about NOT becuase people folow their Religion, but because they don't.

Well Nagar jee, I wasn;t asking you about Islam... I dont claim to know much about Hinduism, you shouldn;t make claims either..
The Islamic way of dealing with ones enemy I will tell you doesn;t include mass murder. Muslims actually do believe in justice... But it advocates fairness above all else. But this fairness in justice is not blind justice. Thats the immpression I get from Hindu philosophy, is that you go around murdering people trying to fullfil your "duty" by doing that which is "correct." But then who defines what correctness is?
I simply asked you if through Hindu philosophy, the murder of thousands of innocent people can be justified.. According to you it can.. So I guess, Hinduism isn't a peaceful religion? Clarify if you can.

I am also not an expert in Hindu Philosophy, but In Gita, Arjuna had to fight the Kaurava army who were on the Adharma(wrong) path. Infact, Krishna advises that irrespective whether it is your Kith and Kin, if they are wrong they need to be punished. Lord Krishna ensured the defeat of the Cruel and Wicked.
It is absolutely wrong to use Lord Krishna's teachings to justify Gujarat's killings.

There is a difference in the way Hinduism, and Islam teaches their followers. Some are common sense and you need not turn to religion to find out whether it is correct or not.
For eg. killing of innocents, do you mean to say that we need to refer to the holy books to find out whether killing of innocents if justified or not? Why has God given us such intelligence and reasoning. You definitely can use your God given intelligence to decide right and wrong.
Hindu scriputures devote in the realisation of the God to get away from the birth and death life cycles. It is absolutely wrong to infer that Hinduism preaches violence.
As I said earlier, if Muslims have burnt the Train in Godhra, then the administration should arrest the culprits and hang them. There is absolutely no justification in the rapes and murders of the innocents. All the culprits responsible should be hanged. Let us hope justice is served.
