Here is what i belives
1-some ppl may appear to have special powers-which they posses only due to mujahidaats(going aginst nafs) but that is some thing even sadhus and christian preasts appear to possess---no one here heared about healing powers of preasts?
2-some religious people are at times given some special powers by ALLAH subhanuwataalah,but again these powers and kashf are not in control of the buzurg..even some time buzurg dont even know that he knows some thing....(complicated ..hay na :) )
3-These karamaats are not a benchmark of buzurgi---only bench mark is following quran and sunnah---if some one has thousands of karamats but he dont offer salah then he is kazzab not a buzurg--dajjal will also have many karamat and powers
