make sure U keep the fever down…asides from paracetomol U shud be giving her either cold sponging or better just let her shower…DO NOT let her temperature go up…

secondly she needs plenty of fliuds , losing weight is not a good thing …make sure she has soups & those ORS formulas …

thirdly don’t be a desi parent and think u can treat her …go see a DOCTOR !

ok chachu and everyone else here u go.

I did a bit of search and there are a lot of duas out there, but couldn’t find ones that are specific for sickness except the two below. Tell your Chacha to read these, as well as make as much dua as possible. Also, Surah Fatiha is also used for Shifa.

Also, general duas like Rabbana Aatina Minladunka RahmatouN Wa Hayyi Lana Min Amrina Rashada (Oh Allah bestow mercy upon us from yourself, and facilitate our matters in the right path), Surah Kahf (cant remember the ayat number)

If he is really worried, ask him to offer 2 rakats of namaz-e-haajat. Inshallah Allah unn ki beti ko jald shifa ataa kare ga, Amin.

Attached is a file with a lot of ayats from the Quran with relation to healing, but the translation is in urdu only.

Please note the two LINKS at the bottom. They are very helpful… there are many duas in that for almost EVERY aspect for our lives; children, health, wealth, forgiveness, etc etc… There are way too many for me to sort through so thats why i am giving you all of them…

“Adhhib al-ba’s Rabb an-naas, wa’shfi anta al-Shaafi, laa shifaa’a illa shifaa’uka shifaa’ laa yughaadir saqaman (Take away the pain, O Lord of mankind, and grant healing , for You are the Healer, and there is no healing but Your healing that leaves no trace of sickness).” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5243; Muslim, 4061)

This one here is what i always use on my family… Subhanallah it works wonders!

Put your hand on the part of your body that is hurting and say, “Bismillaah” three times, then say seven times, 'A’oodhu Billaahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu wa uhaadhir (I seek refuge with Allaah and His Power from the evil of what I am suffering from and what I am worried about).".
