Re: 2011 Brides
I am doing my rukhsati after the reception. i know its not traditional, but this is what me and my fiance wanted. Some people still cant grasp the concept, no matter how many times I have tried to explain it to them, but as long as me and my fiance are happy, and my parents and my in-laws are happy, doesnt matter what other people think! i dont think there is anything really traditional about my wedding, but I love everything about my wedding!
If you still have time to plan your wedding out this way, I would totally recommend it! Every cost is shared, which in the end leaves more money to start your future with your husband! and every responsibility for the wedding is shared, so one side doesnt feel like they are doing more than the other. and because I am involved in all the planning, for every single day, I have a say in everything, from clothes, jewelry, decor, food, venue choice, EVERYTHING!!! It gives the bride more control over everything! I highly recommend it!
