Just like the Iraqi troops, the Pakistani troops took part in the 1967 war. They had PAF in Syria and Jordan and the contingent was based there before the civil war broke out. We had troops based all of the middle east under Ayub and Bhutto. They weren’t sent into support the uprising they were already there.
Secondly the Pakistani Military command in Pindi gave the instructions to Zia to open fire. That was a direct order sent over the phone to the both the military command in Jordan as well the Embassy and diplomats.
