This is disgusting. this guy makes me sick.

he does everything himself and controls her.

This marriage will either break, if the girl opens her eyes ans realises what he's really like, which come on she does, thats why she mentioned this to you, OR, shes gona have a breakdown and ruin her own health and mind.

tell her to take control now before it gets worse. he's sayin this today, whats tomorrow.

all she needs to do is say dont hug ur mum, play him at his own game. if she has a girl tell him u cant hold or kiss her. see what his reaction will be then

Fairytale, rather than spurlging your friend's dirty laundry on the net, did you actually try to knock some sense into her? The fact that she loves this hypocrite even though he treats her badly suggests that something is wrong in her head aswell as her husbands. Yeah well if he comes on gupshup let's hope he doesn't beat the crap out of his wife for divulging their marital problems to you.

It is not up to a man to allow or forbid his wife anything. And vice versa. He can express dislike and they should respect each others wishes within reason. The guy in the op sounds like an idiot.

We all know what he is enforcing is wrong. Now what is the real question here ? What should the woman do ? She said she loves him and she is changing herself for him , so what can we do in this situation ? Teach her how to go and rebel against her husband , but she is not asking for it. Is she ?

How can people not notice these tendencies before marriage? The crazy conservatism and possessiveness. And women are emotional, i.e the wife is in love, so she makes excuses. Women who are abused often do. But sooner or later she'll snap out of it. Hope he's not violent

I love my dad and family and I don't always hug them, but do so here and there.

If my husband doesn't let me hug my own family members...I'm gonna drop kick him and do it anyways.
