Desi parents and that dependency does throw a monkey wrench into things.
If problems came up in my marriage, it would be very difficult resisting sharing those problems with my family. My family and I are super close.
But here, we see the ex. of a woman who was patient with a husband who went through that spell, but I'm not so sure if I'd find a guy who would be patient with me, in a likewise manner, if I went through such a spell.
That's where I get annoyed with these sort of awww's. It's all adorable when a guy does this sort of thing, and yet nearly all of you would go off on a girl if she posted a similar problem. There would be no "aww's"
There would be a series of lectures of how grateful she should be someone even married her in the first place.
