She needs to grow a pair in my opinion. Things will be said in heated argument for her to (in my opinion) overact would put me off her if anything. Doing something and saying it are totally different.

^I dont think she acted out of line. Could you imagine hearing your parents say that to each other or your dad saying it to your mom? Things about slapping are just not said in a respectful relationship.

You've clearly haven't had a heated argument. Damn, I'm so competitive if I'm playing football or snooker **** can hit the fan. However, after the match me and the lads are still good friends.
Point being is she shouldn't take such words too seriously he did say he didn't mean it and Im assuming she trusts and knows him well?

I'm known for getting very heated during arguments. Regardless, I don't make lame threats like that. And guys saying that to guys is different, you cannot under any circumstance speak to your future-wife like that.

I think we agree on saying that saying such words with intent or following up on them is totally wrong.
However, I think in this instance I think she is overplaying it. I think there is no malicious intent in the way it planned out.
If she still isnt satisfied with that then simply leave him. BUT then what does that say about their relationship...

Exactly, but it was his reaction and choice of words that is off-putting to her. Would your guy saying that to you cause you to rethink the whole thing or you'd brush it off?
lol, calling it off? All I would need is a sincere apology. Plus I have the ability to tell by a persons face if their apology is sincere. If he apologizes, its done and over with.

Malicious or not, people need to keep their mouths SHUT when they are angry. That is the ONLY right way. Doesnt matter if its her or him.
If you won`t do it, then you should be able to face the results or apologize.
Secondly, I think both people showed immaturity. There is a way to debate. Once you have your point across, then stop arguing further (that is where the girl is at fault). Telling the girl that if you were in front of me, I would slap you is SO PATHETIC. Like it just sounds so lame and immature.

So this guy was supportive of Amir's gaalis in Urdu, while the gal was actually against use of said gaalis. And this guy, while upset at the gal for not being more supportive of Amir's gaali using video, is deeply offended at the gal for quoting the gaalis. And threatens to slap her to boot.
Clearly he was in the wrong. As hula suggsetd, if his apology was genuine and the gal does not feel threatened, I would dismiss this as a one off thing.

And I agree, arguing over such dumb things is ridiculous but what is a person to do when they're both so damn stubborn? One person has to realize when to let it go and drop it?
