I think the conversation in this thread is heading nowhere at all. Everyone needs to understand that men and women are EQUAL. However, equal does not mean they are the SAME. Women are different from men, so their reasons for being dependent on a man are different from a man’s reasons to be dependent on a woman. A man may seek emotional and physical fulfillment from the woman, the woman on the other hand may seek support in the practical aspects of life. It certainly does not mean inferiority for either the woman or the man. There is no line drawn here or no clear cut definition of who is dependent on whom more. There is no doubt that two are stronger than one and both men and women need each other, albeit for different reasons.

The bold sentences are exactly what I have said repeatedly. Equal does not mean same. Thanks.

SOME women just don’t get it!

Besides, when it comes to emotional support, still women need men more than men need women in THAT aspect, not that men never need that. I am aware I have opened another Pandora box but this is a very subtle point.
