Honeymoon to door ki baat hai, tum to wedding hall se rukhsat bhi nahin ho gay …to dievorse ho jaaye gi. Is liye, make the only good moments you have last. Just get a pretty dhoti and nice make up and photography. Doosron ki dafa dievorse dievorse kehtay phirtey ho, aur apni dafa the kushfehmi that it will last much longer.

Simple wedding…I’d totally be fine with just a nikkah, small walima/reception if it meant having an awesome honeymoon like traveling around the world!! In fact, I tried to convince my mom to do the very same thing…did not go over well..eh…I tried

i would divide the finances and make them both just about perfect :)
Definitely honeymoon hands down. Later down the line I don't wanna be reminiscing about how we wore designer outfits and how big our cake was LOL

i think i’d choose the wedding because i like to entertain and this is the grandest sort of entertaining you will probably ever do- and your family and friends will also get to enjoy it and remember it with you, whereas they cannot enjoy your honeymoon with you
you don’t have to go around the world to have romance with your hubby

honeymoon for sure! a wedding is one important day, yes, but a round the world honeymoon trip is many, many fun days and lots of adventures, memories, and good times all around.

Wedding cause only the couple get to enjoy the honeymoon, I would want to spend more on an event all my friends and family could enjoy and remember.

^^^ if seems to me that (especially in desi weddings!), it’s the family/friends who are the only ones who enjoyed the wedding/rasms/hulls gulla…bicharay groom and most certainly bride are just thankful it’s all over
