and how you know Sharif's order the shooting ? Have you looked at circumstances, if police is getting attacked, fire may happen, check Ferguson again. These are facts of life. So no Sharifs didnt order Police to do something. Yes Police could have been trained better but that doesnt make Sharif's accountable. The people protesting in Dharan attacked Govt, What Govt did was very little, any where elese, it would be more including US. The firing on protestors in PIA case was not ordered by Sharifs, again violent crowd doing violent things generally result wrong.
You may call Sharif's Mafia but I am sorry you are Absolutely Wrong! I dont think you have ever lived in Pakistan other than occasional visitis or grew up there. Mafia's dont get 15 million votes. These are political parties that are deeply rooted in peoples. Call people what ever but these parties are rooted and get votes. If you dont like them, dont vote for them but dont disrespect others votes.
What secret deals? have you witnessed any on your own or you are going by a reporting of a reckless media and yellow journalism that too is divided on this crap. I have to say these are fascinating stories, only problem is that they are wrong. Nawaz Sharif may have many issues but even his staunch political opponents dont question his patriotism which is as good as any one! This crap about india this and india that is just that Crap. The biggest threat to Pakistan from Politicians who have rules Paksitan for less than half the time ? ARe you kidding me. As for Army officers yes they work hard so as every other person. I come from a military family, I can actually tell you right off the bat half of battaliions, formations, what core commander does what etc etc.
Fleeing to America? Lets talk about it, half of the college kids I have seen from Pakistan on Student visa in various places are sons/daughters of Army officers. AS for moving back to Pakistan, I am doing more for Pakistan than many other. Where I am is irrelevent, this is global economy. I actually went back to Vote. That is why respect for my vote is utmost important to me. I am not complaining here, I am putting out facts! Try to comprehend the story. In any case, reading your views, these are fascinating but absolutely wrong. To each their own.
Chaudry it's not the Pakistani military that ordered police and rangers to open fire on Qadri's supporters and abuse the female supporters during IK's and Qadris's protests and it was not the military that opened fire on PIA protestors recently. That's how "democratically" elected sharif brothers operate. They are a mafia. So is PPP. So is BLA.
If the army has to swoop in to control them then maybe these groups need to get their crap together and stop the ethnic discrimination, selective development of parts of the county or in the case of BLA outright treasonous behavior with their Chiefs sitting in Europe making plans for India to separate Baluchistan. I don't blame the military for getting involved when the biggest threats are your own politicians and feudal chiefs who would rather make deals to sell off Pakistan to India or Afghanistan. The military isn't the one making secret deals with India to destroy its own territory.
Now yes, there needs to be checks and incompetent generals and military leaders need to get sacked. If you're drunk on the job, you need to be pulled off. No question about that. But that doesn't mean you insult the entire group. Most military officers are probably the most disciplined and hardest workers in the country. They're not getting out of bed and starting their shops at 11 am, nor are they fleeing to America like you did. You want Pakistan to change? Great. Then start by moving back and doing something. Quit complaining while sitting in America.
