perhaps whatever situation he is going through is already a therapy for him .. ^o) .. who knows. but again thats not the point. the point is .. if he really wants to .. then what should he do?

It’s your friend’s ego which is making him behave this way. He is not in love. Stop feeling sorry for him.

So? Who the hell cares if this is the first time you have seen him possessive about any girl. The reason why he is being possessive is because this girl has not surrendered to him…he realizes that he has no control over her…that he doesn’t own her. That is not necessarily love. That could be simply be wounded pride/ego and selfishness.

Look, if he truly respected this girl, then he wouldn’t say things like “I’m not in love with her but I just want to be with her” and “She’s not the type of girl that a guy would want to marry.” Such statements don’t reflect love.

On one hand, you criticize him for being a player and a jerk…and on the other hand you’re defending him and almost hoping that she will fall in love with him. If this girl was someone that you knew…let’s say that she was a good friend of yours…or let’s say that she was your cousin or your sister…I doubt that you’d want her to fall in love with this guy (whom you have called a player), even if he were your bestest friend.
