being divorced is not a trait and neither should it ever be "labelled" upon one.. its simply a very unfortunate case of circumstances and misguided choices

I think divorcees are more willing to compromise as sometimes they see this marriage as their last chance .. same way I know that an older woman getting married is more likley to compromise as she has learnt from others mistakes and knows this may be her last chance
Depends on the divorced woman personal traits (rather than her divorce label) and also depends on what the new husband constitues as a good wife. That makes the statement generally false.

A married woman (who hasn't been and may never be divorced) could be an awful wife.
Unless someone has been in your shoes they won't understand. These "always" and "never" comments are so black and white for a world that is not black and white.
It reminds me of how teachers in high school prepare students for the SAT by teaching them about process of elimination in making answer choices. And one of the first tips you receive is to steer clear from answer choices that are worded in extremes (contain the words always and never)....cuz they're not worth your time...that's how unreasonable they are.

i am of the opinion that a divorced women can be more adjusting and compromising than the one who is marrying for the first time.
So i will recommend it to all those who wanna live in peace and grow.

both divorced husbands & wifes can be better than b4, much wiser, will want to make ther marriage work and will work hard on it, marrying divorced women shouldnt be a problem

i think a divored woman will make a better wife since shes been through that phase and learnt from her experienxes ..but it should not be imposed on her like in our desi culture parents try to marry them off within a year of getting divorced which is wrong because everybody needs some time to get over the past n be normal again

I agree am a male been divorced 4years and getting married soon inshllah to a person who has also been divorced for about 4 years, it gives u enough time to reflect on ur mistakes, makes u a stronger person, and also can fall in love proplery this time. we all make mistakes its never one sided but as long as u realise and reflect ur new marriage inshllah will prosper for years to come.

it depends on the reasons they were made to marry a man that was not right for them.
it's always best to see how the man was that she was married to before and how her situation was when she was married, that will tell a lot. it's always best to have an open mind when seeing anybody, some people have been through some difficult times. all people need to be given a chance and the prejudging is what's annoying, i'm including divorced men in this too.
