How many calories does a medium sized cup of strong tea with 1 spoon of milk and 1 spoon of sugar contain?
negligible
Re: A Cup of Tea
Any nmbrs?
Re: A Cup of Tea
Tea with a little bit of milk n no sugar is abt 40 calories ...so i've heard or read somewhere. I think the sugar wud make it just over a hundred calories, mayb ?
Re: A Cup of Tea
^ Thank so much sweety.
if u r on diet then u shouldn't worry about calories..my cousin used to have 4-5 cups of tea with controlled roti/chawal...and she is now the mother of 2 big kids and looks like their sis...
another friend used tea for diet and she is very slim...she even used full cream doodh for her chai with proper pakki hui chai not ordinary tea-bag tea...
i too have chai but not daily...i am trying to ..caloric content of tea is of no worry...
uetian2k1, how many days until you see / feel a difference in your body fats? Im on a diet of just a cup of tea during the entire day and either a roti with any salan or some snacks before sleeping (so that I could fall sleep
) for the past 1 week and a half. I do feel lighter than before but dont see a major improvement.
I just feel that I was accumulating too many unburned calories in my body by eating rich food but no physical activity at all for the past 2 months. And my blood was getting thicker and darker in color. I would love to have a tastier tea with more milk but I know that wont help to make my blood thinner.
Im waiting for my new weighing machine (the older one has gone faulty) to know how much this has worked out.
Re: A Cup of Tea
A diet where u only drink tea
doesnt sound very gud…y dont u go on a cereal diet, two bowls of cereal a day one for breakfast n then one for dinner, and u can hav fruit n fluids in between, it does work and itz healthier too, tea diet will leave u with loadza defiencies ![]()
Re: A Cup of Tea
MissY_M, ![]()
I do take water and fruits (watermelon or sweetmelon) in between.
Why I try to avoid breakfast and lunch altogether is because beemaaron wala breakfast/lunch nahi kiya jata
I mean if I do sit to eat breakfast or lunch, I know I’ll end up eating alot more which I should not so I dont eat it at all.
Re: A Cup of Tea
No breakfast is really important, it is the most important meal of ur day, n having breakfast will help u burn more calories during the day! itz a fact those who eat breakfast are not likely to put on weight and b fat (i saw this on my cereal box lol) and itz true wen i started losing weight i started eating breakfast n my weight did shed quite rapdily, so make sure u hav breakfast hav a big bowl of cereal n then hav fruits n drinkz during the day then one meal in the evening, try not to hav roti everyday tho’
if u can’t live without eating roti then hav it twice a week max! also eating breakfast will mean u eat less during the day aswell, so dnt skip the breakfast! and cut down to 2 meals a day, breakfast n dinner n fruit n fluids, treat urself with junk once a week, but wen u do, don’t over eat! first 4-5 days of dieting and cutting out sugars etc will b hardest, if u can hack those few dayz, the rest will get easier, and make sure u exercise aswell!
i dont know exactly bcz i seldom take tea but now i am trying to have it…abt days i am not sure bcz i not only control my diet but exercise as well…exercise helps to tone ur body..so its really very good…yar i have written many times in my post related to weight reduction that dont starve urself..eat healthy and exercise to buhut imp cheez hai..A 30 min workout works the whole body..i do it for 60 mins sometimes 70 or 80 …but in earlier days, i started to work out daily for 90 mins..at that time i turned much exhausted but at the same time i lost a lot of weight… u won’t see a major improvement unless u exercise..
muh kholling when reading" no physical activity at all for the past 2 months."
u r doing cruel to ur body ![]()
for good blood have good fod
get urself weighed first…
Re: A Cup of Tea
and lol dn’t just hav melonz lol hav apples, oranges, pears, grapes, etc. Oranges, apples, lettuce, tomatoe’s carrots are negative calorie foods, try eating those, they help u burn more calories! heres a short list of negative calorie foods…
Re: A Cup of Tea
MissY_M, that's an interesting link. Ive saved in my favourites.
uetian2k1, I dont have any motivation to excercise but cant stand myself gaining weight. Will try to adopt a routine like I had before but mentally not ready yet.
Re: A Cup of Tea
the more milk you put the dangerous tea gets. (just a tip)
Re: A Cup of Tea
^ Why is that, zobia?
Re: A Cup of Tea
depends how much milk, cream or sugar you pour in.
milk in. brewed tea in water in itself, will not be a lot caloric.
Re: A Cup of Tea
^ I thought so, Dushwari.
I've never had tea without water anyway. Even the readymade dhoodhpati has to be poured in boiled water.
