A country's religion..

Re: A country's religion..

Actually, the confusion regarding "Shariah" has been created by the Saudis (who have mixed their backward culture with Islam) and Zia Ul Haq (who is directly responsible for more than 3 Million Muslim deaths).

That said, I don't think we should make the Saudis our ideal. They are in no way Muslims. They are barbarians. We Pakistanis, as a nation are far more capable and talented than the Saudis. If they didn't have oil, they would probably still be sitting around in tents raping women of rival tribes!

Re: A country's religion..

Pakistan needs less religion/shariat... not more.

personally I would like to see a completely secular Pakistan.

Re: A country's religion..

Ya with the current situation and our past experiences, I'm afraid that's the only option. At least for the next couple hundred years...

Re: A country's religion..

umm yeah we need to pay less attention to religion when we have had to deal with two major disasters, both in the month of Ramadan.. ?

Re: A country's religion..

yes state ko aur religion ko alaidah kerna chahiyay.mullas ki door masjad tak. waisay bhi agar religion ko siyast main lain gay tu phir es waqat itnay groups jamatin or firqay hain keh control kerna muskil hu jaiy gha.
i support secular pakistan where everyone should have religious freedom. this is best way.

Re: A country's religion..

Yes, the floods were not due to the rampant corruption due to which money for flood preventive measures was diverted to the pockets of politicians.

Its an Izab. I wonder why Pakistanis want Izab so much. Open your eyes.

And b4 debating the imposition of Shariah, we need to fulfill human rights. The Westerners are far ahead of us in this regard. They take care of their people. They have justice and that is why Allah has blessed them with wealth and power.

Take the Sialkot incident as an example. U don't need Shariah to bring the culprits to justice. If this had been done in the US, the whole village would be in jail by now.

bhai yeh 3 million zia ul Haq nay kaisay murway diyay?

Re: A country's religion..

so, in Ramzan - a blessed holy sacred month, etc, God turns into a vengeful God and decides to punish the poor, vulnerable people who believe in him? and that's why we need sharia and to be making more people amputees by chopping off their limbs?

and lol at using a edited like Saudi Arabia as some sort of a model state. if there is a edited in the world, it is Saudi Arabia... this is a country where discrimination and racism is institutionalized... where an ajmi is lesser than an arabi. where Pakistanis/Indians are nothing more than lowly rafeeqs. where labor from our countries is exploited. where maids from Indonesia/Malayia are abused as if it is part of arab culture and tradition. where women are treated like cattle. where limbs are chopped off as if they will grow back. where people's heads are chopped off as if they were lambs for slaughter. where money is raised and sent to encourage fundamentalism and breed terrorism in other "brotherly" countries like Pakistan while the sheikhs themselves have edited with their 4 wives.

yeah... thanks but no thanks.

Re: A country's religion..

Bhai ye woh log hain jo Afghan war of 1980 mein maray gay. Aik aisi jang jo America ke liye thi. Agar ye jang na hoti toh America is tarah sab ka baap na bana phirta!

And since Saudia is a role model for all Muslims, I'd like to say something about the true joy of being a taxi driver.

A pakistani couple once arrived in Saudia and unfortunately took a cab being driven by a Saudi. At a general store, the husband stopped the cab and went in to buy mineral water. In the meantime, the cabby drove off with the woman, who was never seen again. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to guess what happened.

Re: A country's religion..

aaj tu aur bhi sad news hain keh dakouun nay maree kay qareeb kaffee ghariyun ko loota

Re: A country's religion..

Muree ke qareeb?? WTF man, yehi toh aik safe jaga bachi thi for outings..

Re: A country’s religion..

:smack:

1: NO ONE believes saudi arabia to be the “ideal”

2: NO ONE wants “shariah” law to be forcefully implemented in Pakistan

3: My point is, we all need to become banday de puttar, grow some aqal and ask Allah mian for forgiveness and stay on the right path and follow the teachings of Islam which include human rights etc as well. Agree?

Re: A country’s religion..

Ya, and we don’t need Mullahs for that, thank you. Nor do we need special laws. The Constitution of Pakistan, with some liberal amendments will suffice.

Re: A country's religion..

precisely. you don't need religion for human rights. you need sensible laws.

Re: A country's religion..

^ sorry but no one is more "sensible" to me than Allah mian. His words = sense!

That said, I'm not disagreeing with what u guys are saying... amendments in the justice system, law reforms etc are needed... at the same time, you cannot ignore the importance of the teachings of Islam.

Re: A country's religion..

humari tu dua hai keh allah pakistan main sahee jamhoori nazam lai adliya azzad hu, her kissi ko abadat aur mazhab ki azadi hu regardless of religion.

Re: A country’s religion..

First please make connection between your earlier post (http://www.paklinks.com/gs/all-views/447694-a-countrys-religion-4.html#post7673422).

I still didn’t get what flood has to do with not having shariaah in Pakistan. If this is all about Muslim & Non-Muslim, then you need to visit some gay bars or high-end erotic bars in any western country. Is God doing pick n choose? why the so-called azaab is not coming here from where you and i writing these posts.

I understand your love for Saudi coz you spend time their, but hey i will not even “thokna” on Saudi if Makkah & Medinah wasn’t their. Saudi Government & Society has not respect in my eyes in anyway, they are just bunch of tribal retards. Our qibla is Makkah but Saudi’s is Washington.

Re: A country's religion..

meray khiyal main kissi mulak kay baray main nahin kahna chahiyay . kiyon keh humaray watanay aziz kay halaat buhat kharab hain
hamain pakistan kay baray main soochna chahiyay

Re: A country's religion..

Samb dear, all profanity was edited out from those posts. I didn't delete a single sentence from your posts, just the words that I believed were offensive.

Secondly, I do not support saudis or china or anyone... I am all for Pakistan. You don't think we need religion there, I think we do, lets move on.

Cheers!
