im not going to wear a hijab until im ready to wear it. that doesnt mean that im going to deny the truth. some of us know that we have to pray 5 times a day…does everyone do it?
i dont quite understand what you are getting at about the image 2 thing?
also you THINK that hijab is a political statement. however that is just your opinion. perhaps some do it for that reason…but i assure you most dont.
Angel Eyes i hate to say it, but some ppl r jealous of it b/c shweetdreams is the second person who actually mention that, which i dont see any reason to do so in this thread!
u know it but u wont answer my translation issue
u know it but are not ready to wear it
prayer and hijab are two different issues…whereas one is a pillar of islam the other is a cultural thing.
thats my opinion…and what i gather from the Quran. cuz i have no reason (again translation issue) to believe otherwise.
as usual it comes down to lame excuses about “islam’s cool, ppl are bad” and statements like “i KNOW” and “im gonna believe what i wanna believe and not argue”
was she talking about MY pic! ? haha that’s funny considering my face was blurred out! it’s funny how “someone” mentioned me showing my hair (which doesnt matter in the first place since i dont do hijab)…but what is hair w/o showing a face!
I am beginning to assume that u DID NOT read cressi’s post all over
Hijaab is NOT a cultural Thing. One and Last time i will repeat that it is MANDATORY for women to do so as a MUSLIM WOMAN! now the CULTURAL thing is that whether you DO it or NOT do it!!
evil i hate to tell u but u are misunderstanding my intentions…i just happened to see her pic and then she posts about knowing the truth and abt how hijab is mandatory… i found it hypocritical thats all.
You have mentioned in the past that you don’t wear a hijab. So is it fair to assume you wear low cut tops and tight pants? Why don’t you leave the judgments and condemnations to God?
Before anybody else goes on about how much I dislike hijabis, please save it. I really couldn’t care less if you wear a hijab or not cause honestly, it is between you and God.
