Mashallah. Now the remaining 9% need to be taught some hard lessons.
Quote: Among the most striking trends in predominantly Muslim nations is the continuing decline in the number saying that suicide bombing and other forms of violence against civilians are justifiable in the defense of Islam. In Lebanon, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Indonesia, the proportion of Muslims who view suicide bombing and other attacks against civilians as being often or sometimes justified has declined by half or more over the past five years.
Re: 91% of Pakistani's do not support suicide bombings.
Killing innocent people by any means suicide bombing, helicopter bombing, aerial bombing, daisy cutters or any other maens is deplorable.. those who do that they are residets of hell!

So then you condemn the terrorists killing out troops by suicide bombings?
Re: 91% of Pakistani's do not support suicide bombings.

as troops have killed many innocent families in teh past in these areas while killing the insurgents i dont condemn it - but i condemn innocent civilins killed by these suicide bombers...
Re: 91% of Pakistani's do not support suicide bombings.
Suicide is haaram in Islam and those who are killing innocent people by blowing themselves up in the name of Islam are going straight to hell. There are no ifs, buts, could or should. Quran is very clear on this issue.
Re: 91% of Pakistani's do not support suicide bombings.
any further details about this 9% who approve, are they concentrated in certain areas, are they certain ethnicity and certain educational level? I have some suspicions but they are just that.

Troops didnt kill innocent anything... Troops killed terrorists...
Civilian deaths are always unintentional. Terrorists attack with the intention of killing everyone including the innocent.. Big difference.
Re: 91% of Pakistani's do not support suicide bombings.
mashAllah good to see that only a very small minority supports the terrorists who commit such despicable and anti Islam acts.
Yes Alhamdolillah for this report!
And again it is a slap on the face of the those who condemn all pakistani bearded men or burqah clad women to be terrorists.
Here is a little tidbit for you and others.
I was at a Dawah booth for our masjid in the last week inside a local fair. A couple came over and starting yelling at me and my co-host of the booth that why do "moderate" muslims condemn the extremists and so on.
I told the man that 90+% do condemn all of this. But he kept arguing that if so how come he hasn't heard of it and then I finally saw why he was not believing what I was saying..I paused and after my partner got done speaking I said "You know when you say moderate, it really means no beard and no hijab..right?" and this got them finally. I explained that muslims who do observe their religious obligations are not automatically extreme. And those giving up these are not what the world think is moderate either.
They both noded and finally saw the light.
We are getting a bad wrap due to a trivial few. We need to stand out as the vital many and show islam's worth.
Re: 91% of Pakistani's do not support suicide bombings.
i think that figure is higher than 91%. It must be around 97%. Only in Bangaldesh, it must be cloise to 99.5 %. Brithish media has a way of twisting facts cause they nevr want Pakistan or any muslim country to look completely good
Re: 91% of Pakistani's do not support suicide bombings.
And that 16 million is the population size of people living in Balochistan and NWFP and Waziristan
This is a huge generalization and very irresponsible remark. Their are Jehadi tanzeems (some of them banned now, officially) whose roots are in Punjab, also. Putting each and every person of NWFP and Baluchistan (and FATA, too) under 9% is not fair

you are correct, there are good and bad people in all , you can't say all are bad or all are good :)
