She is primarily known for her outstanding performance as a RADIO PAKISTAN artiste with a magic voice that people simply went crazy on its melodious touch--the gift of God she has. **
Talat Siddiqui was ever popular in Radio Pakistan-Karachi weekly program "SALMA BAAJI" sponsored by DALDA every Sunday afternoon at 1 pm. Others in cast were ; Talat Hussain, Rehana Siddiqui and Santosh Russell.
Talat Siddiqui indeed, always played a beautiful mom, wife and a sober women in few of the Pakistani movies--ever popular being Himayat Ali Shayar's "LORI" with Rufi as her son...and Santosh as her husband.
Go to youtube and search for her ever hit song "CHANDA KE HINDOLAY MEIN...." and see how charmingly she acted.
I cant remember her PTV play which was popular.
Yes indeed--her sister REHANA SIDDIQUI was (and still is) a very popular TV artiste of PTV from yesteryears...and so is her daughter ARIFA who herself is a hugely talented person that I know of...though i have never worked with her.....
