From the Islamabad Declaration, adopted by the 34th Session of OIC Foreign Ministers on May 17, 2007:
"We reaffirm our support to the people of Jammu & Kashmir for their unalienable right to self-determination in accordance with the relevant UN Security Council resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. We call for respect for the human rights of the Kashmiri people, and agree to provide all possible political and diplomatic support to the true representatives of the Kashmiri people in their struggle against foreign occupation..."
From the statement of Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Secretary-General of the OIC, to the UN General Assembly on September 16, 2005:
"Many people in the Muslim World are still deprived of their rights to self-determination or are living under foreign occupation, as is the case in Palestine and Kashmir."
This is just scratching the surface. There are plenty more where these came from.
Janab ...... i dont see them saying "Indian occupation" ...... want to see India mentioned. As far as i care it is Pakistan and China which are the foreign occupiers of Kashmir. Even UN "resolutions"expilicitly mention that Paksitan has to vacate its forces from Kashmir ..... i haven't seen India mentioned in the same light even in UN resolutions or even OIC resolutions.
This declaration was held in Islamabad even then OIC did not mention India by name ...... So you can harp on forign occupation and i will "support"that .... even i would like to see the "foreign "power like Pakistan and China out of Kashmir.
