**9/11 conspiracy theories allege that the September 11 attacks in 2001 were either intentionally allowed to happen or were a false flag operation orchestrated by an organization with elements inside the US government . A poll taken in 2006 by Scripps Howard and Ohio University showed that, "More than a third of the American public suspects that federal officials assisted in the 9/11 terrorist attacks or took no action to stop them so the United States could go to war in the Middle East."The most prominent theory is that the collapse of the World trade Center were the result of a controlled demolition rather than structural weakening due to fire.
Another prominent belief is that the Pentagon was hit by a missile launched by elements from inside the U.S. government or that a commercial airliner was allowed to do so via an effective standdown of the American military.Motives cited by conspiracy theorists include justifying the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq , and geostrategic interests in the Mideast, including pipeline plans launched in the early 1990s by Unocal and other oil companies .
Dont beleive in these but two question in my mind that still remains unanswered is as to why upto now there is no footage of plane hitting Pentagon and what exactly happened to fourth plane, was it shot down or did it just crashed.
***The question is the way those towers fell.......straight down instead of keeling over , how you would expect the building to fall if hit from the side. .......and the fact that the surrounding buildings were untouched ....one would think the damge would have been more widespread over the area than as well contained as it appeared to be.
It is my understanding that the twin towers were built around extremely strong cental core stuctures. Essentially, when the over-heated steel in the core started to lose its integrity (the strength of steel changes with “heat treating” - when heated to a sufficient temperature for enough time it begins to anneal, reducing its load carrying capability) the vertical supports failed. Before the the structure tipped too far, enough of the structural integrity of the core was lost at the level of the fire that one floor simply fell on to the one below it, the rest of the structure above dropping with it. As soon as the first “fall” happened, the sequence was inevitable - the kinetic energy of all the floors above falling far exceeded the design strength of the uncompromised structure below. Because the core below the fire was still strong, it did not twist or bend until crushed by the stuff falling from above which is why everything collapsed straight down.
So the core temperature to have reached that point to weaken cannot be explained by the heat of ***Jet fuel and office fires — cannot melt iron or steel. They don’t even get half as hot as that and so something else was there, very energetic material that had to be placed throughout the buildings to make them collapse so symmetrically…this is the theory proposed by their own architects and engineers ! **1) It has been suggested that it was fortunate that the WTC did not tip over onto other buildings surrounding the area. There are several points that should be made. First, the building is not solid; it is 95 percent air and, hence, can implode onto itself. Second, there is no lateral load, even the impact of a speeding aircraft, which is sufficient to move the center of gravity one hundred feet to the side such that it is not within the base footprint of the structure. Third, given the near free-fall collapse, there was insufficient time for portions to attain significant lateral velocity. To summarize all of these points, a 500,000 t structure has too much inertia to fall in any direction other than nearly straight down. **
2) However, the building was not able to withstand the intense heat of the jet fuel fire. While it was impossible for the fuel-rich, diffuse-flame fire to burn at a temperature high enough to melt the steel, its quick ignition and intense heat caused the steel to lose at least half its strength and to deform, causing buckling or crippling. This weakening and deformation caused a few floors to fall, while the weight of the stories above them crushed the floors below, initiating a domino collapse.
**It would be impractical to design buildings to withstand the fuel load induced by a burning commercial airliner. Instead of saving the building, engineers and officials should focus on saving the lives of those inside by designing better safety and evacuation systems. **
3)The additional problem was distortion of the steel in the fire. The temperature of the fire was not uniform everywhere, and the temperature on the outside of the box columns was clearly lower than on the side facing the fire. The temperature along the 18 m long joists was certainly not uniform. Given the thermal expansion of steel, a 150°C temperature difference from one location to another will produce yield-level residual stresses. This produced distortions in the slender structural steel, which resulted in buckling failures. Thus, the failure of the steel was due to two factors: loss of strength due to the temperature of the fire, and loss of structural integrity due to distortion of the steel from the non-uniform temperatures in the fire.
I can't make up my mind about it. There seems to be lot of evidence on both sides. But if Americans are really smart enough to plan all this, I'm very impressed. We can learn a lot from their long-term planning.

I want to know how Tower 7 came down so many hours after the main impact, and it did not even get a direct hit
in my opinion, the logistics of carrying out such a massive conspiracy are near impossible to achieve. You'd have to have thousands of people involved to keep something this big hidden. Knowing human psychology, its impossible to convince that big a number of people to keep quiet for so long.
The thing that troubles me though is the video footage at the pentagon. How can you have a plane slam into the world's safest building and not get it on tape? I mean there must be hundreds of cameras in and around the pentagon but the only video we see is from some ameaturish camera where three separate frames seem to fuse to show that something did hit the building.
All that being said, i still don't think it was a conspiracy.
I will have thousands of things to back up my side aaho.I stand by the popular version that terrorists hijacked the planes and rammed them on to the WTC. Simple!!!

I remember one Discovery Channel Or N.G episode in which it enacted a part aboard one of the planes, one airshostess requested a pasenger for his credit card and used the Satellite Phone system to inform the authorities whats going on in the plane.
I do not know if anybody had called up anybody straight from the plane,from their cell phones but I remember a news clip mentioning people had actually sent the Text Messages and Voice Messages about whats was going on in the flights.Thats very simple. You can send(SMS) it or activate(V.M) it even if you are outside the coverage area and the messages will get delivered when you re-enter the coverage area. Thats like,when the planes descended to it the towers ,obviously their cell phones would have came back to the coverage area.
