All politics aside, in terms of hard science, I have heard there are a number of inconsistancies in the US governments 9/11 stance
I am a Process Engineer and went to school with a number of Structural Engineers. I dont particulerly understand the mechanics of it, but a number of freinds have told me that there is serious doubt about the the towers collapsing with regards to materials of construction of such buildings, heat transfer from fires, historical records of similar evensts and so on… i.e. both buildings collapsing was not the expected outcome of the planes burning

I think the only way to debunk this is to put the conspiracy hopefuls into a building, pour some jetfuel and let it burn for a while, lets see what happens.

That article in Popular Mechanics is a Govt paid propaganda and a joke. The senior researchers for that article Benjamin Chertoff is a cousin of Michael Chertoff, a former Assistant Attorney General and the new Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). OG, if you really think about it, it is actually good thing. So Alzazeera knows that these are conspiracy theories and not journalistic facts…although normal(you can question application of this word here) abdul thinks if it is on AZ it must be true.

If I had the technical knowledge in terms of Structural \Materials Engineering to give you the argument for a conspiracy I would, but I dont so I wont bother trying.
If you want to discuss Process Simulations or DCS Alarm Management I’m game, but I doubt somebody who spends 15 hrs a day on the internet could oblige me…

My only point is that an alternate view exists, though I seriously doubt that the American Right Wing (no matter how ‘evil’ they are) would risk any involvement in an event like this.

but whole discussion is about alternative TRUTH. There is only one truth. We may not know ALL of it in COMPLETENESS but saying there is an alternative TRUTH is stupid.

look at this way, these are the same people(US Govt) who could not hide or keep lid on Quran desecrations and stop the truth come out..from a place (Gitmo) where no one has ever gone, no one can hear and no one has clue about…they are in full controll of the everything in that place and even they could’t save themselves there.
How do you think you can commit an act of such a proportion in the plain eye of the everyone and live broadcasting and not get caught? Above all Americans arethe best whistle blowers…it would take thousands of people to hide such an act…almost impossible to do. and remember Bush has been in power for only few months.

Well our american friends here fear that muslims are successfuly insinuating that 911 was plotted by Americans and I dont wonder why. Some of the questions that bug me.

1) How were hijackers able to fool the Secrurity Screening at the Airport
2) As per reports, Hijackers were trained to fly small aircrafts like Cessna not intricated big planes
3) Once you divert from your assigned route/ alltitude, The control tower instructs the pilot. Did Control Towers know that planes have been diverted/ hijacked.
