645 US soldiers injured / killed in just 12 days - bloodiest period to date

The title of this thread is enough to make your head spin :rotato:

Can someone pls fix it, to make it atleast somewhere close to the actual nuimbers? Either give casualities for the whole war or for 12 days. Don’t mix them together.

Thank you.

The 700+ is for the whole war since March 2003. It can’t possibly be for the last 2 weeks. Unless, ofcourse, someone just blew up the whole Marine Corps or something.

^ No it is actually a testament to some of the posters’ mathematical prowess. :hehe:

This is answered in another thread. The US is their to show the arab world that if you send 19 arabs to invade america and kill more then 3,000 innocent people, america will send 125,000 troops to your countries and remove any openly anti-US dictator, no matter the cost.

Yup true, you kill 3000 of our innocent people, we will come and kill over 20,000 (Afghanistan and Iraq) of yours. In the process we will also throw in a free show called "Shock and Awe" for our public to enjoy. You see we are civilised.

Well, 100 have been killed in the last 2-3 weeks and hundreds injured, the thread title doesn't suggest 645 were killed in 12 days.

Actually, it's 107 killed now, and over 600 injured - certainly the bloodiest few weeks ever for the occupiers in Iraq.

actualy your post is a testament to your little brain capacity,
the title says killed/injured…so it means that 675 soldiers were either killed or injured…because a casualty does not just mean deaths, it also means any injury…so the title is perfectly good to describe the horror of battle, because deaths are not only measure of fierce battles, injuries too speak for themselves, and it is good to include them to show how ferocious a battle was.
a warning to you faisal too, killed/injured means killed OR injured…next time please pay attention

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. troops are dying in higher numbers in Iraq this month than at any time during the war, with polls showing rising unease among Americans over the mounting death toll and doubts about the conflict’s merits.

Carpenter said the Bush administration was in “a very delicate position,” like the one encountered by President Lyndon Johnson early in the Vietnam War.

“Much like Lyndon Johnson’s administration in 1964 and early 1965, it faces a fundamental choice: Does it escalate in an effort to salvage the mission? Or does it try to wind down this mission, declare ‘victory’ and go home? I certainly hope that this administration profits from Johnson’s experience.”

Johnson poured U.S. forces into Vietnam in an ultimately failed war in which 58,000 American troops were killed.

Bring it on!

Thanday Mazaq is now giving warnings… interesting :hehe:

Anyway… bloodiest it may be. Lets stay tuned to see what becomes of Fellujah and Moqtada Al-Sadr. These are the two hot points right now.

Bush has unleashed untold bloodshed on Americans, Iraqi's and Afghani's alike.

This man should be put into a pine box and shot into a black hole, then the black hole should be hurled into a bigger black hole

** Americans Squirm as U.S. Death Toll in Iraq Surges **

What an appropriate title for a news article, chosen by Reuters.

I didn't want to rub salt into open wounds so ommited the title, I mean it says it all really doesn't it.

*Americans Squirm as U.S. Death Toll in Iraq Surges *

However, I'd much rather read 'Bush Squirms as Poll Surges up his a**'.

:k:

:smokin:

if you guys can be like communist dictators and delete and edit every one’s posts, i cant even give verbal warnings?
just to clear any misgivings, i m not angry or anything, i just like to be sarcastic…so take it lightly…and dont delete this post..like usual..

Reuters must be an Al-Qaida/Baathist propoganda rag...

Why are these pictures banned in the US, if a tree falls in the forest and no one is there does it make a sound?
