That’s not bad work by the Iraqi resistance at all. :k:
83 U.S. Troops Killed in Iraq in April
For American forces in Iraq (news - web sites), these are the deadliest days of the war. At least 83 U.S. troops were killed in action in the first 12 days of April, with the most recent death on Tuesday. Also this month, more than 560 were wounded and two soldiers were declared missing. At least four American civilians were killed, one contractor was captured by gunmen and six others are missing and feared abducted. The number wounded so far in April exceeds the total for any other full month of the war by more than 220.
Even the opening days of the conflict, while bloody and tense, were not as costly in American lives. In the first 12 days after invading U.S. and British forces crossed the Kuwaiti border into southern Iraq on March 20, 2003, a total of 77 U.S. troops died, including several from non-hostile causes.
Re: 645 US soldiers injured / killed in just 12 days - bloodiest period to date
Question is can shias and sunnis sustain (TER) terrorist elemination rate? If they can then hallelujah !!! more power to them… some times a wounded terrorist is more valuable then a dead… It sucks up resources in a situation where they are already scarce. On top of that it has a political impact. Thats why I was hopping freedom fighters get their hands on some bio/chem weapons not to kill just to give terrorist taste of their own medicine!!! ala DU…
Around 70 coalition troops and 700 Iraqi insurgents killed in Iraq fighting since April 1
United States Brigadier General Mark Kimmitt, deputy director of military operations in Iraq said Monday that 70 U.S.-led coalition troops and 700 Iraqi insurgents have been killed in fighting since April 1. There is no authoritative figure on Iraqi civilian deaths, he added. The head of Fallujah’s hospital said a day earlier that 600 Iraqis – mostly civilians – have been killed in the siege of that city alone. Kimmitt’s comments Monday were the first full casualty statistics released by the military since an uprising by a radical Shiite militia started on April 4. A day later U.S. forces began their siege against Sunni insurgents.
Re: Re: 645 US soldiers injured / killed in just 12 days - bloodiest period to date
Indeed. But what must be noted about the last 12 days is the fact that more US soldiers have been killed in this period, than in the first 12 days of the Iraq war. That means the fighting is now far, far more bloodier and costly for the American’s, and that is why they quickly moved to calling for ceasefre, ceasefire, negotiations, negotiatons!!
The Shia and Sunni freedom fighters joined by new recruits from the US-trained Iraqi police and army, have shown the American’s who is the boss in Iraq, and that they will have to negotiate with them. :k:
Other than the unmittigated glee shown here, the question is, do these casualties mean anything, do they make a difference? Here is a letter from a Marine Commander in Fallujah to the families of his soldiers. Judge for yourself whether the troops are intimidated:
Ah! from collateral damage to terrorist.... That is a mighty improvement...

Yes. The number of US soldiers killed in the last 12 days has now been revised upto to 87 (plus 2 missing), an all-time bloody record for terrorists killed. In fact the overall number of US soldiers killed in the last year is now fast approaching 700 (nearly 800 for the "coalition" as a whole). Many, many thousands of others have also been left injured.
I’m sure now the iraqi resistance is absolutely frightened.
Never forget one thing, no muslim will ever be afraid to die for his home.
Atleast freedom fighters die for a cause, their homeland. What are poor american terrorists getting killed for? bush?? what a big joke.
Yawn at your self. Iraqi insurgents are dropping like flies aginst only 2,000 or so marines who are fighting house to house. America could easily level half of fallujah from the air, but they choose to fight on the ground. Who said americans are coward?
U.S. troops were holding back their full firepower on both fronts to allow Iraqis time to negotiate.
Marines fought fierce battles Monday and Tuesday with insurgents in Karma, a village outside Fallujah. Some 100 gunmen were killed in battles in palm groves and over canals that were so intense that wounded Marines were sent to rejoin the fight.
“They ran in there with bandages and all,” said Col. B.P. McCoy, commander of the 3rd Battalion.
Marines came under two heavy ambushes Tuesday, the best coordinated and largest guerrilla operations in days, said Capt. James Edge. Two Marines were killed Tuesday and two Monday, the military said.
A force of 20 insurgents attacked a Marine position in a residential neighborhood of Fallujah, then damaged an armored vehicle that came to support it, Edge said. A fierce battle followed to extract the vehicle as F-15s overhead fired on gunmen.

Excuse me that figure has now gone upto 93 (plus 2 missing) in the last 13 days, an all-time bloody record for terrorists killed.
Please add 9 more, todays count is 9 terroriost send to hell.
Has somone calculated (TER) lately?
Don’t forget 6 were sent to hell yesterday too.
HUSAYBAH, Iraq - (KRT) - Six Marines were killed and scores of
insurgent Iraqis slain in a fierce 14-hour battle Saturday between
Marines and mujahedeen fighters who slipped into this town near the
Syrian border.
Right, they chose to fight on the ground amidst their helicopter gunships and air strikes. That’s about as brave as getting on a rollercoaster in an amusement park.
American terrorists in Iraq, are not only stupid, they are cowards. Let them perish one by one. Their death is my entertainment.
Way to go Iraqi’s for sending another 6 bodybags back to the US. :k:
Some 107 foreign terrorists killed in a little over two weeks, and around 600 plus injured - these are the very bloodiest weeks of all for the foreign occupiers.
In Iraq city, Marine snipers have become significant tactic
“As a sniper, your goal is to completely demoralize the enemy,” said the corporal, who played football and ran track in high school and dreams of becoming a high school coach. “I couldn’t have asked to be in a better place. I just got lucky: to be here at the right time and with the right training.”
ya ya I have enjoyed quite a few stories about US… US has faught to win may times just ask I will draw the list… LOL… to win!! yah right for retards at home US won quite a few…
The retards being interviewed in the US military believe they’re in Iraq because “They attacked us on 9/11”. How pathetic. What do you expect from a nation which teaches in their history books that they were victorious in the war of 1812. I wonder if they know who won the Vietnam war.
Why don’t you consider this for a fact, why the hell are they there for?
Freedom for Iraqis? WMD? Al-Qeada? or secret oil deals with Saudis?
At least the Iraqis are dying for their country, what the hell are the American kids dying for? Pathetic warmongers …it’s sad… if today Bush announced that he did all this just to get even with Saddam because of the shame he cause his father you guys will still support it because you and your likes are bunch of red necks.
The Black man has every right to call you the White Devils.
This is answered in another thread. The US is their to show the arab world that if you send 19 arabs to invade america and kill more then 3,000 innocent people, america will send 125,000 troops to your countries and remove any openly anti-US dictator, no matter the cost.
