Who knows how many would have been ‘secular Bharati muslims’ and stayed in Bharat, had Hindus and sikhs not started murdering muslims in thousands?
There were many muslims who had chosen to stay in Bharat in 1947, but were later forced to migrate because they knew their religion and culture would be under threat, and they came to this conclusion because of Hindu chest-beating all over the country to make their part of British India a ‘Bharat’ of Hindu mythology.

By that post I am showing the chameleon characterisitics of secular Bharatis. They support their Hindu brethren for the very same principle which they use to criticize Paksitan’s creation.

Keeping in view the Zionist-like supremacy-syndrom of Bharati/Hindu nationalists (secular and fundamentalists alike), the only way to maintain peace in South Asia was to make two separate states based on religion.
Had British not colluded with Kashmiri-Pandit Nehru, there would have been almost a complete peace achieved in South Asia.

1. As per Bharati sources in this thread: Before Bharat was created, 52% of Punjab was Muslim. This was in response to quoting 60%. Fight on 8% difference as much as you like. Muslims were in large majority in East Punjab. Bharati tolerance turned that majority to a landless tiny numbers from Bihar (again based on Bharati census figures in this very thread)

2. Sikhs were in minority in Punjab before Bharat was created on August 15th and you want to challenge that. What art thou smokin'?

Now take one more baby step - and read slowly - when partition occurred and Muslims moved out of Punjab, their proportion will become smaller or not? Add to that the fact that Sikhs and Hindus moved out of what became Pak into Punjab, thus further changing the proportion.

Just read this for now and remember. When they get to the chapter of ratio and proportions in school, you will know what we are saying.

^ foolish try. You don’t trifle with 120+million Indian Muslims that easily even if they are a minority. That’s a lot of digits and lot of people.

Your problem is that many of you think since the idea of Pakistan became possible on the basis of religion that you have a monopoly of that religion. That’s a sad mistake that many of your countrymen commit until they learn some basic facts about India’s diversity and tolerance. People like you just use their naivete to blow hot air.

Who made you an authority about Himachal Haryana and Punjab? you just cook up numbers such as the 60 to 0 (probably watching some car ad in the reverse).

If the portion of minorities were small to begin with, AND, the percentage of Muslims increased in relation to minorites, then wouldnt that mean that the proportion of Minorites to Muslims would also decrease in relation to the rising numbr of Muslims?

Bharatis love to rave and rant about the pre-partition percentage of Bharati-Muslims to current level and use these numbers to whip Pakistan.

Unfortunately these stats are comparing two completely different regions. What these simpletons should do is to compare “minorities” from both Punjabs (East and West) in pre-partition numbers to the current numbers. One can easily see that such minorities disappeared from both Bharat and Pakistan.

Bharatis have cleansed Muslims in East Punjab. How else could you explain all those Muslims landowners left their ancestral homes in Ludhyana, Jalandhar, and “Ambar-sar”?

Look around Himachal, Haryana, and Punjab regions of Bharat and you could count on your fingers all those Muslim landowners. This is how Bharatis turned majority 60% Muslims to a fraction of a percentage. Wah wah the tolerance of Bharatis.

UPites and Biharis are in Bharat because your Gandhi claimed them to be part of Hindu dharma so they have every right to live in Bharat. You can’t have it both ways. But then may be you could, you are a Bharati after all.

As for tolerance to religous minorities.. heh! Lets look at some numbers shall we. Since 1947, the percentage of Hindus in Pakistan has dwindled from 23% to less than 1%. (Even in neighboring Bangladesh, it has dropped from 40% to 8%, and the Bengali genocide, the responsibility for which Bangaladishi’s put on Pakistani Army, .. ahh yes, or course!). By contrast, the Muslim population in India has risen from 8% to nearly 18% over the same time period. (This is not evidence of religous tolerance in India, BTW, just an interesting contrast.)
