another foolish tactic that isi tried and failed miserably at...trying to create a rift in India between Hindus and Sikhs. You got to a few through bribes but Mrs.Gandhi gave her life in the process. The Sikhs qre quite well integrated, thank you. By sheer natural justice, for trying to separate Sikhs from India, you ended up losing Bangla! Queer! What does Israel has to do with Bharati Punjab, Himachal, and Haryana? Majority Muslims of these areas didn't want to leave but Hindia kicked them out.

Whoever lost there lands(zaminay) were given the option to claim them.antibol ask your elders about "Claim forms" which were given to the muhajirs(urdu speaking and punjabi) and Those who had agricultural lands and properties were given land accordingly.
guys you dont know what is really happening in pakistan do you my Indian friends.This is true that there have been instances where minorities in pakistan were oppressed but secular india cant claim that they have a better human rights record.Definitely the minorities are in a better condition in pakistan than hindustan.
Christians who are poor and were converted from low castesof Hinduism are normally sanitary workers and are poor but they are almost equal toan ordinary pakistani since our country majority of the people or poor.But the christians from goanese origin who mainly live in karachi are well to do they are normally middle class and our employed in multinational firms and are educationists
I can give you the example of jacobabad,sindh where the population of hindus is about 30000 around 10 percent but they have a majority in garment industry and most of the rice mills in that city are of hindus.
By making a sikh PM or a muslim president wont prove that people from every religion are treated equally in india.

And I think that in any place (all over the world) - minorities will not feel as good as the majority - thats truw...just that in India, the law does not recognise you differently coz of your relligion...but people will never be perfect...

That is probably true. However there are very few countries in the world who have successfully wiped out a majority as in Himachal, Haryana, and Punjab (three parts of the East Punjab of 1947).
Sure Bharat doesn’t have “direct laws” of Mullahtic lunacy such as Hadood ordinance. Unfortunately laws are only one facet of the societal trends. Others such as hiring practices are subtle but much more draconian.
Look at the %age of Bharati-Muslims and then compare it with %age of Muslim judges, engineers, and doctors. Sure you could blame it on Bharati-Mullahs. Ground realities are that Bharatis successfully kicked out Muslim upper-class landowners and pushed the Biharis and UPites into ghettos.
I understand that you are trying to defend Bharatis for what they did in East Punjab.
The problem is that claim forms do not replace the ethnic cleansing. Muslims of East Punjab didn’t want to leave their ancestral lands but they were forced out by Patel-Nehru-Gandhi clan.
p.s. Non-Muslim Punjabis did plan to “concentrate” in East Punjab and they prepared for it. Master Tara Singh’s shenanigans at the footsteps of Assembly hall Lahore were equally bad as those of the Mullah Ata-Ullah Shah Bukhari.
Many non-Muslim villages however didn’t want to leave. Sadly they were forced out by the Mullahtic mobs.

You said that the muslims of east punjab didnot want to leave there lands obviously its natural who wants to leave there property etc but the fact is muslims knew that they have to sacrifice our lands to achieve an independent nation.

They were a minority in the undivided punjab before partition and not the present punjab.

Haryana was created for hindu punjabis.Himachal pradesh is the other state.Indian government did create a state for sikhs but a small one and at the same time gave two states to hindus.So nice move by the secularists.

West Punjab had the majority of muslims and it is in pakistan now but the districts of gurdaspur and ferozpur were given to india where the majority of the population was muslim.Overall the muslims were a majority in the undivided punjab
