That is probably true. However there are very few countries in the world who have successfully wiped out a majority as in Himachal, Haryana, and Punjab (three parts of the East Punjab of 1947).
Sure Bharat doesn’t have “direct laws” of Mullahtic lunacy such as Hadood ordinance. Unfortunately laws are only one facet of the societal trends. Others such as hiring practices are subtle but much more draconian.
Look at the %age of Bharati-Muslims and then compare it with %age of Muslim judges, engineers, and doctors. Sure you could blame it on Bharati-Mullahs. Ground realities are that Bharatis successfully kicked out Muslim upper-class landowners and pushed the Biharis and UPites into ghettos.
I understand that you are trying to defend Bharatis for what they did in East Punjab.
The problem is that claim forms do not replace the ethnic cleansing. Muslims of East Punjab didn’t want to leave their ancestral lands but they were forced out by Patel-Nehru-Gandhi clan.
p.s. Non-Muslim Punjabis did plan to “concentrate” in East Punjab and they prepared for it. Master Tara Singh’s shenanigans at the footsteps of Assembly hall Lahore were equally bad as those of the Mullah Ata-Ullah Shah Bukhari.
Many non-Muslim villages however didn’t want to leave. Sadly they were forced out by the Mullahtic mobs.
